Brady is ready to play right now, whereas Croyle is in question.

Against Mich, LSU, and USC 0-3. Those are all teams who have pro style defenses.

It is too good to be true, somehow it won't happen...

Brady Quinn might be the most NFL-ready QB in a decade.

Frankly, Notre Dame's talent level is overrated, they in no way match up with those teams well...

How long do you think it will take for the card to get to the podium if Brady falls to 23?

Yea, i remember at Penn State when they said that LJ couldnt play against the better teams and only performed against inferior competition.

Now there are pro style defenses?

Wow. Who knew?

I guess it's Quinn's fault that Leinart pushed the guy in?

I really thought Herm Edwards was the worst offensive evaluator I've ever seen

Carl won't pass on him, he loves Quinn. He'll lock Herm Edwards outside of the war room if need be.

And all those teams had superior talent at almost every other position. Quinn had to score 40+ points a game to have a chance at winning at ND. I do seem to remember some guy named Manning not being able to win a big game, that is until his defense played worth a shit in the playoffs.

Denver trades up. Seems only thing between us and Quinn is Dallas, or another team trading up...

Chiefs Pantalones

Jacksonville traded down for Denver. The Jags were the only team left to get him, it looks like we'll get the chance to take him.

Unless Cleveland gets back into the first round before us.

Why would Dallas want him?

Dallas is only scary, IMO, because they love to wheel and deal. They would be the team to let Cleveland back into the first round, IMO.

Well, JVille is still ahead of us. We'll see. I'm worried about Dallas or someone else trading up...

I don't trust Jerry Jones. His picks often make little sense, so Romo or not, I wouldn't be shocked...

If we land Quinn, any chance we trade both Trent and Huard and go into the season with Croyle and Quinn battling it out?

"Adam Schefter of NFLN reports that Detroit, Cleveland, and Miami are looking into trading up to get Quinn. They probably need to do it before No. 23."

The question also becomes should Carl consider trading down if someone is willing to give us a crapload of picks, including a #1 next year?

draft Quinn and trade him to
Miami for their 2 seconds

DaWolf

Kolber just said three teams are interested in trading up for Quinn, and they know they need to do it before KC's pick. Look for Jerry Jones or the Ville to make a move...

Ross is gone, so another potential pick of ours is off the board...

From PFT:

RUMOR ALERT: A source in K.C. says it's "doubtful" the Chiefs will take Brady Quinn.

Chiefs Pantalones

If Quinn is at 23, we WILL draft him.

Aaron Ross is who Herm initially wanted, bu since he's gone, the ball is in Carl's court if Quinn falls.

“That won’t happen,” Peterson said. “He will go early. But I’ll tell you this: I love Brady Quinn. If he is somehow available with the 23rd pick, he will be a Kansas City Chief … I don’t care how many quarterbacks we have.”

per Joe Posnanski's article in today's Star

Browns are trying to get up to No. 22 to get Quinn, according to Adam Schefter; the offer apparently is a 2008 first-rounder and a third-rounder. They Cowboys should jump on that one.
