Obviously today is a day of celebration. We should make it a national holiday on Chiefs Planet. "Releasing Day" sounds a little drab, "Cutting Day" kind of frightening. Any ideas for a name?

The holiday celebration at my house will start early in the morning with the ceremonial 'taking out of the garbage', followed by a breakfast of Krispy Kreemes. As friends and family gather round the 'mediocrity bush' they will engage in the traditional 'selling of the turds' in which they give loved ones gifts of undisclosed value in exchange for gifts of no value.

As the children get tired and the last child ends his hold out of going to bed, the adults will stay up and dance 'the bootleg' late into the night.

Ahhh... May 1st. I remember it in my early childhood. The decorations, the music... the traditional meal- baked three-toed sloth. That was a day where being child meant something and everyone gave thanks for not being a cancerous polyp on the anus of humanity.
