Hello from Florida.

Not much to do here in Tallahassee. We ate at a pretty cool restaurant for lunch yesterday called Calico Jack's. We had about 2 1/2 days worth of work to do. We've managed to draw it out a little. We'll be done after working for about 2 hours tomorrow. Gonna go to a local hot spot Friday night, and then either St George Islands or Panama City on Saturday.

Internet at the hotel just came up today. They had some sort of power surge on Monday. Just got in from work, so thought I would try it out.

We're being lazy, and decided to order pizza. However, all of the ones near the hotel close at 11PM!!!

Wow! You ate an entire restaurant? That's what I call hungry! :)

Ha, you should delete that post. If you said that in the airport they probably wouldn't let you on the flight.

We've actually been pretty lazy so far. We've ventured to some cool restaurants for lunches, but that's about it. We asked our waiter at Calico Jack's (it was dead in there at 3PM, so he sat down and talked to us) if there was anything to do here. He said there were cool bars and clubs on Monroe and Tennessee Streets, but it's mostly the college crowd. There's a place called Paradise Seafood Bar & Grill that has a big patio and live music on Friday nights. He said that's where the non-college crowd usually goes. I think we're going tomorrow night after our long 2 hours at work. We're still up in the air where we'll end up on Saturday, but we know it will include the Gulf. I'm doing some shopping tomorrow before work at some of the local shops.

I'm semi-hip to the geography. (Closer to New Orleans? I didn't know that.)

Atlanta could be in the market for a QB.

Because, if you believe the premise of another thread, it's really tough for women to entice men.

The flight from Atlanta to Tallahassee only took 36 minutes.

I wore a Chiefs t-shirt on the flights from Springfield to here.

Nashville is also pretty close to the same distance. Crazy how that works.

After looking up St George Islands and Panama City, I'm going to suggest Panama City. It may be twice the distance (hour and a half), but it's got shopping, seafood restaurants, and the whitest sand in Florida.

Hey Phil, do your neighbors drive a white Ford F250? We were just behind one with Missouri license plates. It turned in at the Tallahassee Suites Hotel. Just curious.

You should go check out Dick Howser Stadium at FSU and they are also the only school that has pedigree to offer in clowning, or something like that.
