True story. My buddy called me during March Madness from Vegas wanting to know if I wanted to wager on any games. We were both drinking and I said whats the odds on the Chiefs right now for the SuperBowl next year. 40/1. I put $50 on them to win it. The lady that printed him my stub laughed. He framed the stub and it sits in my game room right now. I call it my $50 conversation piece.

Wow. I thought my family was big at 5, soon to be 6.

Do you have a big van that you drive around?

You got a grand to burn? Actually if that's all or part of your gambling money for the trip, put $100 on them to win this year and $100 for next year, leave good contact information, just in case, then go have real fun with the other $800 or more playing the game of your choice.

You can enter small hold'em tourneys for 25-100 dollar entry fees, that's fun. To me anyway.....

Vegas family vacation? You are a better man than me. I'd take them to Six Flags for two days, then tell the wife I needed some "me" time and go to vegas alone....

I fell in love with the Hilton sportsbook during my March Madness trip, place a $10 bet,sit back enjoy some sports, free drinks and $1 hot dogs.

FWIW,Hilton had the best future bet odds we found out there as well.

I'm going to Reno tomorrow.

And I will definitely NOT be putting $1,000 on the Chiefs to win anything.

But I might put down $50 for shits and giggles.

Maybe I'll put $50 down on Edmonds to break the single season strike out record. :grr:

I wonder what the odds will be on Chad Johnson beating the horse?

Not nearly as good as the odds of Johnson being a horse's ass.

I used to put a $100 down on them every year to win the AFC and another hondo to win the Super Bowl, I finally quit last year.

I put $10 on them this year at 16/1 to win the AFC and another $10 on the Royals at 100/1 to win the central,I figured what the hell I would've lost it at the roulette table in a matter of minutes.

Tell you what. I'm going to be in Vegas as well. Lets meet at the sports book. You give me the $1k, I'll kick you in the balls and after you recover I'll buy you several beers. It'll be just like condensing a typical Chiefs season into a few hours and in the end you don't have to have regret about losing your money to a casino.

I am going to put a curse on the Chargers by putting down $10 on them to win the Superbowl. It worked last year.
