I was watching the cubs game and between every inning they'd play one of thier many shitty songs. i could do without that while watching a ballgame.

They just played at the Wal-Mart shareholders meeting here. If that's not a sign that they've officially sold out, I don't know what is.

Anyway, the cubs lost again but in the third inning Lou got his first ejection of the year. It was another classic Lou moment. If you can find the video sometime today check it out and post a thread.

Oh, another sign of their demise:

There was a family of four (parents and two little girls) all headed to the concert. They had matching homemade T-shirts glitter painted with Fall Out Boy, covered in bling, and strung with a bunch of ribbons. I can imagine the father was about ready to shoot himself.

I understand. That is one of the main reasons I don't listen to the radio much anymore. They overplay songs to the point that I hate the artist and every freaking song they play.

How stoned were you?

Bob Dole walked out on their sucky asses halfway through their Shreveport show with Black Stone Cherry and Finger Eleven. The lead singer couldn't stop "rock star" screeching for no reason and trashed his voice by the time they got to the fourth song. Couldn't carry a tune in a bucket.

Simply. Awful.

No, I think that is how they always sound. I don't know what it is about Hinder but they just don't do it for me. Their songs are all annoying. Only one I like is homecoming queen, and only a little bit. The greatest band of this generation is going to be Nickelback, not because of their supreme talent, but their uncanny ability to create great hooks and catchy rock songs. I hate about half of all of Nickelbacks songs, but the other half I like. Being they pump so many songs out, theres bound to be some you like.

No, Nickleback will not be the band of a generation because the generation (of what ever one you are speaking of) is too niche to be categorized by just one band. And, they are too one dimensional too.

Creed and Nickelback could have a no-holds-barred steel cage deathmatch for the title of Worst Band Ever, and there would be no losers.

Nickelback is at least as bad. Perhaps the worst band ever. You may be right, but they are laughing all the way to the bank. Their current CD kicked ass in sales. 5 million plus in the US. They are an OK band. I don't own any of their stuff.

I saw finger eleven back in 2000.. they put on a great show - excellent stage presence. Too bad they suck NOW worse than FOB and Hinder times 1000

I'll be front row and center at Rockfest watching them next weekend too, it's gonna be bad ass. Rockfest is already sold out, last year it sold out the day before, and the year before that we got tickets the same day. It is getting bigger and bigger. Tickets are going on EBay for about 70 bucks a pop right now.

Saw Godsmack, Stone Temple Pilots, and Disturbed at a small show at Denver University around ~2001 or so. The guy from Disturbed got nailed in the forehead with a boot from the audience. Good times.

But no, Godsmack is nowhere even close to the best band of this generation. I would rate Korn and Pantera waaaaaaay ahead of Godsmack, and even those guys don't deserve the title (but Pantera would have to be strongly considered).

I listened to Hinder today just because of this post and I have to say that even though I didn't care too much for them, Fall Out Boy is way suckier. Hinder was tolerable. Fall Out Boy makes me want to stick an ice pick in my ears.

Whatever man. With an album name liek "This isn't a scene, this is an arms race." they've got to be profound and stuff. (hopefully I got the album name right, I know it's something ridiculously pretentious like that).
