Dude made $1000 bucks with this video!

Any of you got one of those expensive flashlights?

Yeah, that is cool. But I'm thinking the $100 light is gonna last about 100 years longer than the one he made.

Don't get me wrong. It's cool. But sometimes you really do get what you pay for. That thing is toast the first time he drops it.

I wouldn't pay $100 for a little utility light like that, but I'd pay $20 for an aluminum housed model that will hold up to a little wear and tear.

What I want to know is, who the hell pays $100 for a ****ing flashlight?

Most peolple don't need anything beyond a 2 D cell plastic incandescent piece of crap. Law enforcement and military have different needs. Hunters and shooters use qualight lights too.

FWIW, a rechargable maglight costs around $125. Most quality flashlights run around $60-80.

If anyone ever asks what you want for father's Day/Birthday/Christmas, tell them a 3D cell maglight (if you don't have a quality flashlight already) I got one a few years back and the thing is invaluable.

Plus, It's a great flashlight to have when you need a hammer.

Are you him? Is this how you get all the views?

It's showing that he's made about $35k by just making < 1 minute videos about common stuff.

I have a DeWalt flashlght that uses my drill battery. It cost more than $100. The battery alone is $75.

A homemade fleshlight would net him much more, I bet.

Tubesock, latex glove, rubber band. Approximately 8 cents.

I had a $30 maglite then the battery's leaked and caused a chemical reaction with the aluminum in the stupid unbreakable flashlight. The reflectors are delicate and get scratched easily.

Only problem with this cheap light is not the plastic but the reflector is not top quality. Lens might melt?

I wondered about that as well....

Only because his little internets video increased demand and reduced supply.
