The pucker factor,
from the first sparks to hit his taint
was his downfall.

Almost forgot here's a link to the company if you'd like to check them out first (http://kaboomersfireworks.net/index.html),personally this will be my 3rd year with them and it's not a bad short term gig.

I have a policy of never working at a place with "Ka-Boom" in the name.

I'm curious too... what's decent?

I was basing that comment on what we do in our location so I'm now publically apologizing as every location is different.I can tell you Kaboomers takes care of all advertising, tents, tables, permits etc. so you as an individual have no upfront costs.

I can also tell you that if you're willing to work hard i.e. actually sell to your customers(not just let them shop and buy)you will do much better as well.

As for a estimation on what's decent I'm not going to put my figure out on the board but in 10 days we do very good especially July 1-4 but I promise you you will work your ass off.

Lastly,I'd give Rich a call as there's no obligation and he could give you a better idea based on what location you might be looking at.

I don't know anyone personally in Topeka that would have the free time for the week. Considering there are a ton of fireworks stands here already, I don't think we need more.

You guys make me sad. This will be the first year I haven't shot a show at either Shawnee or Perry since 1999. Damn real world jobs...

Hey, hey, hey! You aren't going to get a finger blown off writing up a survey report.

Yeah, but there's a certain thrill in blowing up $40,000 worth of stuff in half an hour. I'm sure I could find a way to do that much damage here, but it just wouldn't be the same. :D

Note to self: change the combination to the server room door.
