THis is great. THey would not post something like this and just not air the show. That would be horrible rep for the tv station.

I have never seen 1 episode, but its great that the fans actually were able to raise the dead like this. I am going to have to download season 1 and check it out.

Looks like CBS is setting Jericho up to fail again :(

"It's a lower budget, there's less money for guest stars, less money for recurring cast, we're trying to make the numbers work right now," he said. "In season two we want to investigate and explore Cheyenne and a line producer could say, if we explore Cheyenne, we'll never be able to afford it and Cheyenne may come to Jericho now."

So far, Chbosky said stars Skeet Ulrich (Jake Green), Lennie James (Robert Hawkins), Brad Beyer (Stanley) and Alicia Coppola (Mimi) are signed to return and he expects Pamela Reed (Gail Green) will be back, too.

"'Jericho' is a very different show for CBS and CBS has not been known as the network that appeals to the online community as much or the DVD-buying community as much," Chbosky said. "Back when they bought the pilot, they wanted this to be the flagship show for them to try this stuff out and learn about this and their learning curve is the same as ours. The executives over there had never done this before. This was a real lesson for CBS and good for their other shows in the future."

With a short seven-episode order, Chbosky promises, "You don't have to stretch anything out. It'll be seven episodes with a great cliffhanger at the end."

Uh-oh! Another cliffhanger? What if the show's canceled again?

Chbosky said his understanding is "Jericho" will be the first midseason replacement on CBS, meaning it will likely premiere before the end of the year, allowing writers time to script an ending if the ratings are again low.

"We know how to wrap up the show if we have to," he said. "Ultimately it will depend when they put us on the schedule, but it could be as early as October and in that case we will have time to wrap it up if necessary."

I don't think they're setting it up to fail. They're just cutting back. As long as the main characters are back, I don't see where scaling back on the guest stars is a problem. Hell, they didn't have many high-profile actors doing guest spots anyway.

I'm not so worried about Guest stars has I am worried about them cutting down on the action in the show. IMO the new bern assualt Bye Hawkins is the highest point the show ever reached.

Wow. I started watching the episodes on HDNet a couple of weeks ago, and they weren't replaying them fast enough. I jumped onto Wikipedia and found the episodes in order, and then jumped over to AOL Video (http://video.aol.com/video-category/jericho/102968/page/2/view-type/detail/per-page/12).

I'm going through all the episodes, and I'm hooked on this show bigtime. Absolutely one of the best shows I've seen in awhile. I'm watching episodes straight through the evening... except I'm taking a break to watch the Terminator show.

Man it has been a long time since the season ended... I cannot wait. I think that Jericho is probably the best written show that I have ever watched on TV. The story is compelling, the character developements are outstandingly meticulous to detail, and the premise is something that every American thinks about.

I just hope that the show stays around for more then just the 7 announced episodes. I think that they might have put it on TV at too late of a time slot... though as long as it is not directly aired up against American Idol (which was its primary problem), it should do good.

How many here contributed to the 40,000 pounds of nuts that were sent to CBS?

Its finally almost here. I can't wait to see the new season. The SciFi channel is airing the first 4 episodes of the first season on Monday night so I'll probably watch those since its been so long since last season.

All of the episodes from season one can be found @ video.aol.com

Here's what I ran...

And I got just about all of the episodes. What a great show!

(I'm surprised more of the Mizzou fans aren't onboard - in this series, Lawrence gets nuked... but they end up with a basketball team comprised of 12-foot tall supermutants)
