I've been watching a ton of that show lately & the only captains i'd work for are Sig & Phil Harris.

Those Hillstrand brothers in particular are constantly pushing their luck, its only a matter of time before they & their crew bite the dust.

Yep, kind of like Erik Nyhammer and the Rollo last year.

Yep, kind of like Erik Nylander and the Rollo last year.

Whoa!!! What happened??? I must've missed that one. That guy actually seemed very laid back for a crabber captain.

Yep...

Have a tale that just may live up that schooner whopper you just shared right there;

I saw Scott Bakula that's right Scott Bakula, at a waterpark in Mid-Missourah back in oh-one. Yep, he was enjoying family time with the water sledding and such. I walked right up to that Quantum Leaper and, well, I've still got his signature on a checking deposit slip - that's right a checking deposit slip.

After I got his signature, I applied some SPF-25 and got some Dippin' Dots.

Yours truly.

Nothing happened, he just reminds me of the Hillstrands.. Kind of living on the edge a little..

I actually was 1 year behind Eric in high school, he was a serious party animal.. Sig was in my wifes class 3 years later (same school) She says he was just a normal almost geeky kind of guy in HS..

Yeah, that makes sense, Nylander totally strikes me as some mellow stoner guy, he's the least "captain-like" of all those guys.

He was probably only there long enough to save the kid who will eventually cure cancer from drowning. I'll bet he flashed out of there while you were gobbling Dots, only to turn up seconds later as a 40-something woman working in a diner on the outskirts of Las Vegas in 1953.

Oh, boy.

I got sucked into this show big-time.. my wife just doesnt' understand it.

I'm thinking they could almost have a spin-off and just follow Sig and his crew around the whole time

is it Phil Harris that has both of his kids working for him? I get those to big captain guys mixed up and I can't think of the other guys name right now

Yep, thats him. I'm sure its a big part of the reason he isnt out there taking huge risks like a few of the other captains.

BD, PM me where your sister moved and when you plan on visiting and maybe you, myself and a few other Georgia posters can meet up.

we have posters from georgia?

no way...

there are those guys from atlanta, but atlanta is not really part of georgia...

it's a modern cosmopolitan city dropped from the sky straight into it's present day location...

as for the rest of georgia, it's more interesting than it needs to be...

i keed, i keed...

my sister and her family live in southern rural georgia and it's a beautiful place, by and large...
