Fraz,

I'd actually like to root for the Royals from time to time, much like you hope that the crippled gazelle on animal planet will survive the episode--but then their fans come out in droves and try to bash anything Cardinal related in order to build up a micron of self esteem, and well....at that point, they can all go f*ck themselves and get drawn and quartered by the lions of MLB.

I don't let the haters dictate how I act or who I will or won't root for.

Besides, most of the really nasty ones are jerkoffs from Kansas, and as they have exactly ZERO professional teams, I value their opinions accordingly. :)

The Royals are sort of like that ex-girlfriend from high school - the one who was sweet and sexy back in the day, but then she took up with that dirtbag from Bentonville who treats her like shit and slaps her around, and now she's fat and skanky and bitter and lives in a run down trailer on the wrong side of the tracks. You don't tell your new friends that you used to date her because it's embarrassing, but you still see her around town occasionally, and if she smiles and the light hits her just right, you can remember how things used to be.

And while you wish her well and hope she gets her shit together, you've pretty much been forced to write her off as a lost cause.

I hope you aren't actually referring to the cardinals as the "lions" because I may be mistaken but you guys only have 3 more wins than us...sorry to bring you out of your "world champs" glory days but the cardinals are going downhill fast. Rolen, Eckstein, and Edmonds have about 2 mediocre years left and Albert isn't God I'm sorry to inform you. I know you cardinals fans like to think he is the next coming of christ but he can't carry a dreadful pitching staff (3rd worst team ERA in the majors) and washed up veterans. The Cards play in the easiest division in baseball and still have the 9th worst record in the league. The only thing these two teams will be competing for this year is a higher draft pick.

Be quiet. The Cards are the best team in baseball. They have the best lineup, the best starting pitching, and the best bullpen in baseball. Not to mention the best pure hitter in the big leagues. Atleast that's what I've been told.

Ec will be good for at about 2 more yrs. Edmonds is awful this season and should retire. Rolen is still a gtood player though. He has about 3 seasons letct.

I was referring to the Red Sox, Tigers, Indians, and Angels of the league.

The Cards still have a good chance to make the playoffs (although I'd almost rather they shake it up).

The Royals gave up on their season 6 weeks ago.

The last time I checked, 10 rings is a hell of a lot more bling than 1.

this fool wearing an Edmonds jersey and a stl cap at the bar tonight, was all distraught over asking his girlfriend to marry him and her saying no, and he's talking my buddy's ear off about how he "loves this girl, and people are mocking him at this bar" My buddy is finally like "dude I don't know what to tell you" and this guy slams his fist on the bar, and keeps repeating "She said no". I told this fool "you should have worn a Royals hat" he gets in tough guy mode, but won't talk shit to me, he starts picking on these 2 like African immigrant guys that don't speak the best of English, who were minding there own business, but the guy(cards fan depressed loser) knew someone at the bar, so the bouncer kicks the African guys out instead of the douchebag and his friends saying that Kaufman is "Busch stadium west", So I tell the bouncer he's booting the wrong guys and he's all "They're with people that work here". I try to tell this bitch about Arrowhead East, but "football? who cares about football? The Chiefs suck and so do the Royals." I let it go, and chalk it up to ignorance.

moral of the story is: **** THE CARDINALS, **** THE RAMS, and **** ST. LOUIS.

Here is my thoughts from the game last night seeing it live in person. First I hate St. Louis fans with a passion. Bastard Cardinal fan stole my foul ball last night and it was my birthday. :harumph: Perez sucks big time. Everytime I see Gordon live he bashes a monster home run, saw him twice in Springfield last year and he crushed two monsters and then did last night. Royals hit Wainwright well, just that with no wind and how Kauffman is made = no homers.
