Do you want LJ or LT on your fantasy football team?

I'd prefer to have LJ. When I use to play for money I would usually draft Tony G and Trent just because it made the games even more fun to watch. It was two less people I had to look up for the week to see how they did because I knew I was going to watch them.

Well if we had Roaf and Shields, it would be LJ no question. But as good as SD's Oline is I would have to pick LT.

Lj of course he can find a hole in a defense faster then rain man can make a poll.

Well, I have LJ in my one keeper league. I had # 1 overall pick in last years draft in another league and took LJ. Yes I am a homer, but not a blind one.

No way to predict the kind of season LT was due to have, and also what happened to the Chiefs the first week, with Trent almost getting killed.

I didn't vote because you cannot go wrong with either guy. This is like choosing between a Porterhouse and a T-Bone...

Last year LJ was a justifiable pick over LT. Realistically, LT was the one who hadn't shown shit compared to LJ's stats over those few brief games. LJ had the better average score per game and his ypc raped LT's up the bunghole. This year changes everything, though.

The way things happen in the NFL, this year it wouldn't be crazy to see someone like Frank Gore or Stephen Jackson be this year's dream back.

But as for between those two backs for this season? LT. LJ's got the soup can curse working against him. :banghead:

I would take whichever one was available to me when my pick arrived. If I had the first overall pick, then LT.

And I won't apologize for that.

I'll take LJ. I believe we've seen LT's best and he's got a lot more mileage on him. LJ is still developing as a player.

LJ is a team killer. We will long regret not trading him.

I'd go with a ribeye. I'm not a huge fan of either of those steaks.

But I agree with the sentiment... can't go wrong with either LJ or LT.

This year, if I had the #1 pick, I'd probably pick LT. LJ did some good, but with our offense shifting with Brodie Huard, I think teams are going to focus in on LJ again. That, and the record of RBs following a 400+ carry season is not good.

LT is a scoring machine, He can catch passes out of the back field and can throw the ball for TD's as well LJ is nothing but a power back...

LT is usually in the top 5 scoring in our league.. LJ is not...

Ignorant statement.

LT is usually in the top 5 scoring in our league.. LJ is not...

LJ has 52 touchdowns in 48 games - 1.08 TD per game.

LT has 111 touchdowns in 95 games - 1.16 TD per game.

Improperly cooked steaks.

I went to dinner with my parents yesterday -- I ordered at 12-oz. ribeye, medium rare. The thing was about 40 seconds away from well done.

I didn't send it back -- I'd already had a couple problems and didn't feel like making the waitress feel worse. And while I much prefer medium rare, I'll eat it as long as it's not charcoal.

I am not an LJ fan but I might take him for the simple fact that you could know his status in and out each week better than LT. I think mike turner is also going to get more touches this year. Hell I can walk down to the plaza do some snooping and see what he is eating.

Thanks for your stats GoChiefs.... Glad you are updated on our League scoring and stats...

Say what you want, but LT is the most sought after back in our league...

From a fantasy football perspective, they're about the same. Depends on how your league scores yardage and receptions.

I really like Frank Gore. His injury history remains a concern in my mind, however. Then again, the annexation of Brittany remains a concern in my mind as well.

I'll take LJ on the basis of pure power running potential.

How is this even close? They are about the same yardage-wise, sure, but Tomlinson scores a lot more touchdowns and in fantasy football that means he's a lot better.

I guess if you're in a league that doesn't score touchdowns it would be some kind of a question.

Definitely not in our league we get points for receptions and of course TDs I believe LT scored 100 more fantasy points than LJ in our league.

If I had the second pick, I'd take Stephen Jackson. He's a good player, but I'm not sure how much an NBA forward will help you in NFL FF. Unless you get points for number of fans pounded on.

Overall, LT has a SLIGHT edge in the league I'm in over the last 2 years.

I learned in 2003, the key to winning in FL is avoiding Chiefs players..

I have finished in the top 3 or better each year including the championship in 05... I avoid Chiefs players like GoChiefs avoids women....

2. Stephen Jackson
3. Frank Gore

You're telling me you wouldn't take Larry Johnson because he's a Chiefs player?

Hell yes I would take him at that point... if I was drafting 4th and he was on the board...

Thing is our drafts have never shaken out like that.. And with a family full of Chiefs fans, someone will snatch him up with the first pick...

I seiously doubt that a FL draft would go 4 rounds without Mannin, Harrison, Brady, and many others not being selected a head of Jackson and Gore...

would a logical clone take frank gore over manning?Depends on how the FF league scores, in our league QBs only get 3 pts per thrown Td and get only 1 point per 35 yards thrown so QBs are not nearly as valuable as they are in other leagues. Still Manning always goes high because he throws so many TDs.
