The Kansas City Chiefs have set dates for the 2007 Summer Training Camp at UW-River Falls.

The Chiefs have called UWRF its summer home and the 2007 camp will be the team's 17th in River Falls.

The Chiefs will arrive at UWRF on Thursday, July 26. The first practice has been set for Friday, July 27. All practices are held at the Ramer Field Sports Complex.

The Chiefs will hold two practices sessions with the Minnesota Vikings. On Friday, Aug. 3 the Chiefs will travel to Mankato, Minn., for practices at the Vikings' Training Camp. On Saturday, Aug. 4 the Vikings will travel to River Falls for practices. This is the first year that the two teams have set practice sessions at each camp. In the past one team would travel to the other team's summer training camp site for one or two days of practice sessions. The popular Family Fun Night will be on Wednesday, Aug. 8 at UWRF. The Chiefs will break camp on Wednesday, Aug. 15. Most practice seesions are free - the exceptions in 2007 will be the Aug. 4 practice with the Vikings and the Aug. 8 Family Fun Night.

Specific practice times have not been set, but can be found here when they are available.

Looks I will be heading up for the Vikings scrimmage on Saturday, Aug 4th since Family fun night isn't on the weekend this year.

I wish they'd practice closer to KC

I am going to try and make the August 4th practice as well. Head up late Friday, stay Saturday and Sunday, and drive back Monday.
