I prefer sausage 7 times out of 10. Probably would go with links over sausage, but I'm not really picky there.

The 30 percent of the time I go for bacon it's non-crispy.

Wow, what a great question. My preference is crispy bacon, but you can't go wrong with any of them. I find that when I eat sausage of any kind, I get way more full than I had planned. I'm not much for breakfast anyway.

I was just eating breakfast for lunch and got curious what most people prefer.

I went with Spam Lite this morning. Spam, fried eggs, fried taters and toast. We like a big breakfast on Sunday, the rest of the week I drink a Slim Fast in the morning.

I went with the Lobster Thermidor a Crevette with a mornay sauce served in a Provencale manner with shallots and aubergines garnished with truffle pate, brandy and with a fried egg on top and spam.

Hormel Foods Inc. requests when referring to SPAMŽ Brand Luncheon Meat that you use all capital letters.

When I was in high school (senior year) me and some buddies made a shrine to SPAMŽ. We took the door off a locker, set the shrine up inside it, lit incense and candles, got dressed up in some stolen choir robes and worshiped

Bacon is just way too salty. I prefer fresh side. I can season it however I wish. For those who don't know, side meat is just uncured bacon...

Heh, you think that's bad, I actually went to the SPAMŽ museum when I was in Minnesota a few years ago.

SPAM Lite with 50% less fat, 33% fewer calories and 25% less sodium. And yet, somehow, it still retains that same classic SPAM flavor. Makes a great breakfast meat!

I pull a can out for Sunday morning about once every 2 months or so. A complimentary accompaniment to eggs and fried taters, it's bold without being ostentatious.

Bacon if I'm having fried eggs. When I eat scrambled I like sausage chopped up into little bits and mixed in.

There is a certain, "happy medium" when discussing bacon and the way it is cooked.

Ya see, To me it is best when it has lost all elasticity, but not all of its flavor -> ...see "crispy."

for this alone: My vote went to the non-crispy option.

And for that matter, why no mention of scrapple? It's an insult to the Pennsylvania Dutch. Was this perhaps a deliberate oversight?

Both, but sausage is easier to cook so I buy more of it.
