On Saturday, April 21, my wife gave birth to our first child. You all should be happy to know that he got his hospital picture taken with a Chiefs hat on!

Congratulations Mack,
I took 2 weeks off work when my son was born, I finally had to come back to work so I could get some rest! Good luck with the new baby, and don't plan on sleeping too much for the next few nights.

They are both asleep on the couch. I have a new found respect for my wife. I sure as heck wouldn't want to go through labor. The little one is sleeping great, just not when I want him to!

Big CONGRATS to you and the Mrs.!!!

Enjoy the little things, they pass by so fast!

Please convey my utmost respects to your wife. I am amazed that women go through that experience and do not stick a shiv in their husbands afterwards.

Whines like a puppy when he stubs his toe.

Congrats 47!!!!!!!!

Mine was born 22 days ago (he's an old pro by now;) ).

Glad to hear all is well. There was obviously something in the water 9-10 months ago, as this is the 4th or so Chiefs Planet baby born in April

Best of luck!

I was thrown into fatherhood too quickly. We were supposed to have him this week, so I figured I had all weekend to get things ready.....boy was I wrong. I came home to a messy house and a lawn that needed to be mowed.

But, I am loving every minute of it!

47,

Congratulations, we can use all the chief fans we can get. This has been a big babby month on our BB.

Congrads 47,
Those kids will amaze you at every stage!

Makes you think about your own parents in a different light. (Maybe they weren't so terrible afterall! :) )

47mack - Congrats to another one of the new fathers on the BB, it has been the month of births here. I think you make number 4, pretty cool.

The only thing that caught me off guard was the number of diapers, it is just an amazing amount.

BTW, how much did he weight and how long was he?

Was the summer of 2000 an especially cold summer?
Congrats and good luck.
I'll get some extra sleep to make up for your loss.

Milkman - I think with the 4 of us together and the amount of sleep lost you could probably sleep 24 hours a day and still come up short!

Morph,
Since I average only 3 1/2 to 4 hours a night, I could come pretty close to getting in all of your hours.

morphius
04-25-2001, 08:49 PM
Milkman - That is pretty ballpark to what I get, the poor Morphmaiden only get about 1 1/2 to 2 hours a night thanks to the little morphlet.

Gaz

I also sleep about [4] hours a night.

Then I get up, take a leak and sleep for another [4] hours.

Gaz
Takes sleep breaks to keep his dreams fresher [and avoid wetting the bed].

"Morhmaiden" LOL.
Does she know you call her that?

milkman
04-25-2001, 08:53 PM
Gaz,
I imagine your wife is very appreciative of those sleep breaks.

morphius
04-25-2001, 09:07 PM
Milkman - She prefered that over Morphmaid, prob because it hit to close to home.

Gaz - TMI and ewww.

milkman
04-25-2001, 09:22 PM
Using your same thought process, Morph, that makes my wife the milkmaiden.
I like that.

Milkman - Someone here made the names Morphlet and Morphmaiden up, and it was too funny for me to let go of anytime soon.

Morph,
I know what your saying about the daipers, but this isn't our first bit of procreation. We started stocking up months ago.
