Bush is going be history in a year. Yet, Feingold wants to go after him.

What is the buying the farm statement about?

Ooops...forgot to explain something.

I'm buying a farm in Wisconsin.

Wisconsin taxes are too high...and now I have mentally deal with an posturing politican such as Feingold representing me.

Don't get me wrong...I think there are idiots on both sides of the fence.. Bennett & Hatch in Utah is on the other side.

I can't win. ROFL

I would agree with you if this move was coming from Harry Reid or Hillary, but Feingold has been against this from the start. I think that, through this action, he is sticking to beliefs, which is admirable. Of course, many people will disagree with him, but he always has the guts to stand by his position.

I actually like feingold in the same way I used to like wellstone. Both of them say what they believe. Of course, I don't like either of them enough to vote for them which brings me to my point. Look on the bright side. At least now you can vote to replace feingold with a good conservative.

Uh, yeah you can. That's kind of what it's for.

Incompetence.

According to whom? And according to what high level of degree worth sidetracking the country?

It's one thing to read in a dictionary; another for reality.

Again, he's playing to the fringe.

No wonder party leaders are shying away from such idioticy.

wonder when he's running again. I'll have to donate to whomever is running against him. ROFL

Just curious what makes you believe that?

The fact that Kerry won Wisconsin by only 11,000 odd votes out of 3M votes cast. http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-srv/elections/2004/wi/

Further, Wisconsin has always been a rural old line Democratic state but as the Dems become more big govt. and socialist they are going to lose the conservative Dem. votes like farmers, Amish, Joe six pack etc. I've spent a lot of time traveling Wisc. on business there are a lot of developing mfg. businesses in the upper portion of the state (Eau Claire across to Green Bay) and these people tend to be more conservative.

Granted Kerry was a weak candidate but Bush had a war on his back weighing him down so it evens out.

I think the Republicans could take Wisconsin next time with the right candidate and a good state wide organization. Just my opinion but I feel I have a knack for this kind of stuff.
