Out of Republicans, Rudy and Fred have the best shot at beating Hillary....... It is way to early for these polls to have any meaning....

What if Rudy is beating Hillary in every state that Bush won in 04?

National polls mean little especially this far in advance, but I do kind of see her beating Rudy. Hillary's base will sell out the Dean candidate after they've had their party, just like last time, but I doubt Rudy will ever make significant inroads to the conservative base.

* edit, and one other thing, is that I don't think comparing Hillary to a sinking candidate is an accurate barometer of her actual chances to end up taking the oath.

New USA Today/ Gallup Poll out today!

Giuliani 40%
McCain 24%
Romney 5%

Compared to January
Giuliani 31%
McCain 27%
Romney 7%

To have 16 point lead this early pretty much seals the deal.

Nice find, banyon. "I don't care who you are, that's funny right there".

Now we'll see the inevitable backtrack like we did when he was talking about joining up, and folks brought up the threads where Jake was alternately bemoaning his physical issues, and proclaiming he had "better things to do with his life than play with guns in the desert".
