Seeing as I am one, although not very patriotically...
I'm interested to know who you like and dispise from
"The Great White North"
Among my favorites of all time:
John Candy, Terry Fox, Lorne Greene, Pierre Trudeau, Shania Twain :) , Michael J. Fox, Jim Carrey, Dan Ackroyd, Diana Krall, Chief Dan George, Neil Young, Donald Sutherland.
Among the worst:
Jean Chretien, Celine Dion, Tom Green

Celine Dion should have gone down with that stinkin' ship....
However Ms Shania Twain is awful easy on the eyes.

I would prefer to send both of those two on a one way mission to Mars....
Noreaga would have been out of the Vatican in ten minutes if you blasted either of their ramblings at 'em....
One of the most endearing things about Canadians is that they all can rattle off name-after-name of celebrities who became famous despite their having been born up there. ;)
I never knew Neil Young was Canadian. Guess I'd have to put him at or near the top. Lots of great comedians from your country. What would you attribute that to?
3rd the nomination for Celine Deion to go down with the ship. Makes my skin crawl.

Who cares what her last name - there is nothing better to look at than the top of her head in slow motion..... :)

Damnit, Phil, I forgot about that...
Now that I think about it, I got even one better who's Canadian
That's my favorite ;)

rjintx...The standard answer as to why so many Canadian comedians have been successful is that many of them are so good at satirizing American culture, and making a complete mockery of our own (Bob & Doug).

Add Bryan Adams to that list...
Here's one more (although he was deported)
Ogie Ogolthorpe from "Slapshot"
Celine is a must go......
Shania, I have to veto the vote against her.
I can say she is truely a nice person. My 5 y/o who is devolpmently delayed, loves listening to her music. And off a whim, when Shania was gonna be in Billing MT, I sent a email to her fanclub about how much her music ment to our daughter. It was forwarded to her personally, and we recieved a letter back, including 3 tickets to the concert and backstage passes.
My daughter, wife and Daughters respite provider all went. they had a ball and got to meet her. Most people shy away from kids who are severly disable, but she did not, spent almost 30minutes 1 on 1 with her. No it wasn't a photo op either, just a nice person.
besides as Wolman stated, she is real easy on the eyes!
(still kicking myself for passing up the oppertunity to meet her :( )

How 'bout a "homely" heading for her to appear under?
Great music but hardly a "babe".
No offense intended.

What were their names?
05-01-2001, 12:53 AM
Sorry guys but according to Jenna Jameson's biography she was born April 9,1975 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Her real name is Jeffifer Massoli and she is not a Canadian. None the less she is still great to look at.
