Hope this isn't a repost, but ...

This is an ad that will be printed in the Ames Tribune tomorrow morning.

Regardless of what you think of Paul, I think it's nicely done ... stands out from the crowd.

Haha! It happens to the best of us. You saw it because it was loaded in your cache, but the folks hosting the site apparently put a block on hot linking.

That's some powerful positioning there.
I love it!
It makes me tingle with goosebumps all over.

What I like is his face is less important to the message of the country and the people along with the document of freedom.

I was think after I saw his commercials, why didn't they put in any imagery like that in those?

Oh now I know why it has a different look and feel...at the bottom is a credit line of an independent group that did their own advertising for him.

With people doing things like that for him, maybe he get by without all the big money.

Looks like a full page...is it Siberian?

Yes.

"A request for pricing went out to the newspaper, and a call for donations went out to Paul's supporters. It was determined that a full-page ad would cost $2,800.00 for the Saturday morning edition. Within 24 hours, approximately $3,000.00 in private contributions had been raised to pay for the ad."

You know, Iowa really has no business being so important.

I just hope Saturday is not too late. Iowa's pretty big.

Best design for a campaign ad I've ever seen.

Looks a bit like a movie poster really.

Mr. Paul Goes to Washington.

In the credit line, at the bottom it says who they are.

Though I really like the ad conceptually, the picture is so indistinguishable that you cannot tell whether it is Bush or Ron Paul except for the fact it is a Ron Paul ad.

That's what I like about it...in fact I think that was intentional...we the people...he puts the people, Constitution, republic first...even before himself.
It's not really about the man. Cool 'eh?

I just think it is a bad advertising practice to put a picture that could be confused for Bush in a Paul ad. I get the idea but then why have the background picture at all?

I can tell you're an engineer. I've designed for engineer and engineering firms and that's the type of thing they usually say. :D

So you think that looks like Bush?

I say you haven't been watching Ron Paul enough. :p

Is the ad good? Yes.
Is Ron Paul going to be the next POTUS? No.

Of course not. Hillary is.

But Ron Paul will still have my vote.
