Is that based on polling 10% of the whole Republican Party....or just the leadership?

So Jake, does this poll matter?

This one poll not so much.... but the trendlines show a growing movement.

The Realclearpolitcs average has Rudy up 9.6 points nationwide.

He is up in every state except Iowa and New Hampshire.

Mitt Romney is the only Republican candidate running TV ads in Iowa and New Hampshire... has been doing so for months... so it doesnt suprise me.

I don't take anyone poll to seriously.... I like to average them together to show trends... and the momentum is Rudy's court.

The Republican race:

Rudy
Romney
Fred
John
Huck

The Democrat race:

Hillary
Obama
John
Bill

I recommend reading the book "Blink" by Malcolm Gladwell. There is a section on "The Warren G. Harding Effect" that is absolutely fascinating.

Giuliani is charismatic. A year ago he was my pick for president. Dig deeper.

Boy this thing is still wide open isn't it... This makes me feel better about Ron Paul's chances. The Republicans still don't have a clear candidate, or even a cluster of clear candidates.

Maybe Newt ends up walking away with this thing...

I don't think you believe Ron Paul has any chance at all. :)

Rudy flat out beat McCain in Iowa - came in behind Ron Paul. Giuliani brought in almost 2% of the vote. OK... maybe it was closer to 1%, but thats still better than McCain!

31.6% Mitt Romney
18.1% Mike Huckabee
9.1% Ron Paul
1.3% Rudy Giuliani
0.7% John McCain
