So I went to our annual festival this last weekend and the final performer last night was Jimmy Thackery.Call me behind the times but it was my first introduction to the man's music and all I can say is unbelieveable, the man can pick with the best of them.

He even covered The Star Spangled Banner and I gurantee had you closed your eyes you would've thought Jimi was on the stage.

For a 3 piece band I was literally blown away,if you like great guitar work and the blues DO NOT miss an opportunity to check out Jimi Thackery.

Here's a short clip of jimmy

Thackery was the main mojo in The Nighthawks. They used to play Columbia back in the 1970s and 80s all the time. He's a bad man.

I've already downloaded some of his music,I guess it's better to have discovered him late than never at all.
