The White Sox are also playing a tough division leader (Red Sox). Whoever can overachieve this weekend can stay atop at 4th. The Twins have Baltimore, an easy series for them.

I'd be pulling for the BoSox no matter who they're playing, anything to keep those damn yankees from making another post-season.

Thank goodness we're playing a good team agian. We do much better against good teams (except the Yankees) than we do bad ones.

Gee, I'm glad to see that Pro-Zack's got such an easy pitching matchup for his return to the rotation.
I predict that most Royals fans will massively overreact to this game. If Greinke pitches well, the "he should be starting" camp will proclaim victory. If he pitches poorly, the other side will panic and say that we are ruining Zack, who gets bored starting and should be the closer for the rest of his career.

I was thinking the same thing - can't go from a 1-2 inning reliever throwing 15-20 pitches to a 6-7 inning starter throwing 100 or so pitches. Gotta get that arm stretched out.

So much for my prediction. Neither side of the Zack Greinke holy war can declare a premature victory tonight.
