I'm watching the first half of the Broncos vs. Cleveland game, and the announcers just spoke the following phrase:

"The Broncos starting defense has yet to force a punt in this game."

Music to my ears...

Well, neither did we against NO for the first half or whatever, right? Considering that, is it really such a nice thing to hear? Okay, they suck like we did a few nights ago so yes I agree, it's good to know they will be as bad as we will be, heh

They actually said "in the preseason", not just this one game. Because Denver did finally force a punt on the Brown's second posession, after letting them go 80 yards for a TD on the first one.

And the "forced punt" was actually pretty weak, as the Browns had a 3rd and 1 and, for some reason, Jamal Lewis broke to the outside on a run when he had a gaping hole up the middle. The fullback went in and knocked a Donkey LB ass over teakettle to open a huge running lane, but Lewis cut outside and got stopped. Then they were going to go for it on 4th and 1, but Winslow got called for a false start and they punted.

Then Derrick Anderson came in and took the Browns on another long drive down to the 3 yard line, where he fumbled on 3rd down and recovered it and they kicked a FG.

Brady Quinn just led the Browns on what should have been a TD drive. You know what? Denver's defense looks just as bad as KC's offense. I don't know if that's good or bad. :(

Bronco's just fumbled the ball in Clevelands end of the field. Cleveland recovers.

On a local channel here in Scottsbluff. It's not a national TV game. Probably on sometime tomorrow on the NFL channel.

I think the AFCW is going to have three pretty bad teams this year. The Chargers will make the playoffs and choke. Again.

17-16 Browns with just under 3 minutes to go. Denver goes for 2 and comes up short.

Final score Cleveland 17 Denver 16.
Denver looks just as shitty as the Chiefs. Only the units are reversed. :banghead:

It's hard to say. Denver is the old team in the AFC West. Their where we we're under Vermeil. A veteran heavy roster. And replenishing their roster thru free agency. It didn't work for us but who knows, it may work for them. They certainly don't look like a playoff team either.

I've been saying all preseason that the donkeys have one of the worst front sevens in football. They have no talent up front; their best player is Ian Gold, what does that say about the putridness that is the donkeys front seven?

Believe me, the donkeys are a 6-10 football team.

Dre Bly got just bent over like a bitch, that DL is awful, DJ Williams still blows chunks and who the HELL is playing safety for them?

Sad thing is I bet their defense is way better then our offense...
