Ok, I know that the backup QB is the most popular guy on the roster and all. I also know he was playing against the 4th teamers. But, he seemed remarkable decisive out there in the one drive he had. He seemed to command the troops to the line, call the play, and make one read and throw. He was accurate, decisive, and smart. Any chance if he has a good game in STL, he makes the practice squad, or even the third string QB? He is obviously very smart having gone to Princeton. Maybe that is what a Herm team needs, a smart QB that simply manages the game well. What do you all think?

Now that that is out of the way...

Terrell's only hope is the Practice Squad although I am not totally sure why we keep Printers. He may be fun to watch but he doesn't seem to fit our style of play. Why do you keep a QB that is such a total change from the front runners?

If he shows well again, I'd prefer him over Printers. I know that there are many who are crazy for Printers. But, I'm not one of them. I'd rather have a pocket passer like Terrell to develop as the #3 QB.

I wholeheartedly hope that you soon end up in a situation in which both of your hands are broken. You have got to be one of the worst posters on any site, ever, and it was a lot better when your dumbass never posted.

You're one of those people that fall under the category of "know they are an idiot so they embrace it".

I'd like to see what he looks like this week with some playing time. I mean heck, when the play was important he even remember to hold onto the ball when the center snapped it.

Hopefully we don't get to the point where we need a 3rd QB. Printers could help take the rushing load off of LJ though :)

Terrill came in with 4 minutes to play, and completed 5 pasees in a row. He was able to do that, because there was no pass rush...none whatsoever.

Give him a shot vs Lambs , who knows how long starters will be in.....

I would like to see him in there to see what he can do against something other than scrubs myself. I doubt he would do worse than Printers.

Who the hell knows........lets find out.

From what I remember on that drive was that Terrell didn't give the defense time for the pass rush develop. He took the ball from center, made quick reads and threw the ball. I too hope that he gets some game time Thursday. I don't have much faith in Printers. The center to QB exchange are fairly important in my book and if a QB can't even do that then maybe the NFL is not the place for him to be.

I always wonder about those guys that never get a chance to play with any talent because they weren't drafted very high. Take Kut Warner for example, if Trent Greens knee isn't blown, does he ever see the field? I am not saying he is the next Tom Brady or Kurt Warner, but if he is smart and has the tools, why not give him a try with the 3rd teamers at least. Hell, I am not exactly sold on Carl being able to evaluate QB talent, I say let his preseason performance tell the tale.

I've been echoing this same sentiment since the game last week. I'd love to see him at least get a shot at it. I know this is the Chiefs and we're not that lucky but..........Brady was a 6th rounder.

Let's trade Printers to the Falcons for a couple of 1sts.

Guys, Casey Printers is the Next Warren Moon. I don't know why we don't start him.

Good call.. I do not care if it was against scrubs or not.. He did something none of our other QB's were able to do all preseason.. Make quick reads and fires accurate passes to the Wr's/Te's..

The guys quick throwing motion reminded me of some Dolphin player a few years ago.. I think his name began with a M and ended with an O..

I would like to see him get at least two quarters of plays in the next game to see if it was a normal thing or adrenaline thing for him.. Because if he could do that with the starters we would not have to worry about a shitty line because the ball would already be gone...

They could not have mounted a Passrush with how quickly he throws anyway unless they brought an all out blitz..
