I had the Mexico game on last night & saw that Nolan Richardson coaches Mexico. I'm sitting here now thinking how ugly the game will get if he actually tries to run "40 minutes of hell" on Team USA.


BTW if you like watching train wrecks the game is @ 10:00 PM on ESPN2.

Nice little piece on the last game

If weve learned one thing from watching Team USA this summer, its this: the debate over whos the best player in the world isnt a debate anymore. Kobe Bryant has been the primary factor in why this years version of the U.S. squad is so much better than the last few versions. (No, were not dissing Jason Kidd, its just the truth.) Last night was Kobes best game of the tournament he dropped 20 points and three triples on Brazil, and held tourney leading scorer Leandro Barbosa to four points, four turnovers and zero assists. Before the game, we know a lot of folks thought that even if Brazil lost, Barbosa would go off. Turns out he was taken out of the equation,
