I know this is stupid but currently the first eight threads have an unusual characteristic. They all have one less post than they have views. Considering that a few of them have a good number of posts, that is somewhat unique, IMO.

That's 97 out of 99. Something is definitely at play here.

That now equates to 123 threads out of 125 that have EXACTLY one less post than views.

That tells me that the typical DC poster can't view a thread without putting in their own two cents.

It appears that you are correct. When scanning the PanicPlanet, it appears that aside from the threads that have astronomical numbers, the trend continues. It must be that the views are currently not being accounted for.

Code to do the view counts is likely not running or has been disabled for performance reason. Counting when someone clicks on a thread to say hey someone clicked on the thread is kinda dumb.......
