So the wife and I are walking in a charity fundraiser in two weeks. The funds will go to Arthritis Community Services. We're walking a whopping 2.5 miles. Since I don't have any friends, my only hope of raising any fundage is left on the shoulders of my virtual friends here in cyberspace. Even if you don't like me, you would probably like my wife. You can sponsor her instead.

You're welcome to send a check made out to Arthritis Community Services (so you can write it off on your taxes) or if paypal is more convenient I can provide that to you via PM. You can give a flat amount or sponsor an amount per mile, whatever you desire.

Truthfully, my wife is making me do this. If I don't get some sponsorship money she's gonna cut me off so please do it to save my sex life.

It's a walk. I'm not gonna run unless somebody is chasing me. Unfortunately, I don't get chased very often these days. I could stand to miss a meal and get chased 30 minutes a day for a few months.

2.5, 3, 10, who cares? It's for a good cause. I've walked 15 for charity before. I haven't done it in a long time though. This should be interesting.

JEEEEZZZ I can walk 3 miles. You are the starting QB of the Planet Flag football team. You should be able to walk that backwards in a waiter suit carrying a tray and a wine bottle.:harumph:

There better be a liquor store at the end of a walk that long.

Well, we live in Lees Summit now, which means an additional 30 minutes on the drive. You all are cool, but I don't know about an extra 30 minutes cool. heh.

That is a long way to drive home drunk. :)

Well I don't want to see anyone leave here drunk behind the wheel so it's probably best you don't come if you intend on doing that.

As for an extra 30 minutes drive, tell that to Tiny Evel,Bob Dole etc etc

I don't know if I'm going to make it or not but my money will help the cause regardless. If you can't make it to Nzoners I'm sure he would accept some cash for the charity. Just an idea for the Planet to embrace.
