G Keydrick Vincent (Ravens)
WR Marcus Maxwell (49ers)

I'd take Keydrick Vincent.....since we lost Bober to the IR.

I wouldn't say we really "lost" Bober to IR, as bad as our OL is putting him on the field automatically takes 2 steps back.

Maxwell (WR) and Vincent (G) would be my picks to bring in... I heard Maxwell was let go from the 49ers because they were loaded in that position and this kid (24 years old) who played in Europe has a lot of potential...

Oh in no means did I mean that Bober has talent. I just think we need another roster filler. And who knows....the kid might actually be good. He is 29 I think though.

I thought maybe signing a 24 and a 29 year old was rebuilding...

Rebuilding as you go trying to win as well.

Total rebuild Arrowhead empty by TG. record 3-8 by then.

That doesn't work for 2007/2008.

Gotta make sure those seats are full.

If we were trying to totally rebuild we would have got rid of LJ and Tony G, we wouldn't have signed Edwards or Boone, and Croyle would start the season not Huard. KC is trying to WIN while rebuilding. I don't see why people think injecting some youth into the team means we are going in full rebuild mode and are trying to lose the season.

I guess its not a business?

I guess if the stadium goes empty, it would show that we are turning into Sandy Eggo fans too...

I wouldnt mind going 9-7 and using our youth to do... I dont expect to go the playoffs this year anyway, but you always try to throw out a competitive team out there... (and not try to get your QBOTF killed in the first few games)...

Of course it's a business.

With the Chiefs it's much, much more about the business than it is about the football.

Gotta make sure we're "competitive".

to an extant... I think if this were any other GM or a brand new owner, various people would not be complaining about this...

Carl's track record speaks for itself, and he is more business man that football... but maybe we are biased because of the 17 years prior...

I don't view it as a bias at all. It's not 3 years, or 5, or even 12.

It's EIGHTEEN.
