View Full Version : For those who think Fox's "News" is fair... and just their Op-Ed is conservative...
... think again.
Note FNC's effort to conceal Craig's party through the lack of any identification of the Senator's party (ie, Republican) next to his name or anywhere in the article.
They are sure to include it when talking about who's going to investigate the man.

Senator Larry Craig: 'I Am Not Gay'
Tuesday, August 28, 2007
E-MAIL STORY RESPOND TO EDITOR PRINTER FRIENDLY VERSION
Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport Police
WASHINGTON — Denying that he did anything wrong and stating emphatically that "I am not gay," Sen. Larry Craig asked the people of Idaho on Tuesday to forgive him for being arrested two months ago in a police sting in a men's room at the Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport.
Were this in isolation, it wouldn't mean anything.
But let's not forget...

They say 'fellow Republican' and stuff towards the bottom of the article. I have more of a problem with how the thing was written.

Jaz,
Nobody that I know claims it to be anything but slanted to the right; my father-in-law makes no bones about why it's the only channel he watches. I don't think this is anything new.

I've been wondering.... do you think Faux Noise would have more coverage of the kinky bathroom scene if it was Ted Kennedy tapping his foot instead of a Republican? I got this feeling that they would...

As if Cnn is any better. God what a usless thread.
Now, how about ol Ted?
Its amazing that Ted Kennedy is still a US Senator
after driving his car into a river and failing to call the police for what....10 hours ----thus allowing
his female staffer to f'n drown.
The dems don't ask for his removal from office
and when was the last time we heard CNN or MSNBC call for his head on a platter ?
hmmmm.

Remind us, when was the last time CNN billed itself as "fair and balanced?" I don't recall them ever billing themselves as such. Apparently your memory is better than mine. Could you educate us?

I think it is better. Much better.
I would love to find anyone dig up evidence of CNN doing this dog and pony show stuff that seems to pop up from Fox News every week.
The rest of the post is pretty irrelevant. I have no doubt the Kennedy thing was covered a whole lot whenever it was that happened.

What's scary is the rate at which Rupert Goebels Murdoch is buying up media outlets.

Last night was a first for Fox news. The first time I ever heard them accusing Republicans for having a "double standard" with how we react to Senators with straight sex issues and gay sex issues.
The Democrats are free from moral standards. They are free to frolic and phallic anyone and everyone they want at no expense to their party "brand". But then, they don't stand for anything either. They have no ideas, just same old failed new deal socialistic policies that simply don't work in a euclidean world.

And that is pretty much the case but you will always find a couple of liberal dickcheeses who will try to nitpick ANY error (or better put - any PERCEIVED error) on the part of someone or something they don't like to attack them simply because they don't blow sunshine up their asses 24/7.

This isn't a matter of liberal dickcheeses. There are conservatives here that can see this same stuff about Fox News.

There's something weird about Fox these days.
Remember there as a whole thread about this matter?

I love how people around here dislike something, constantly bitch about it, but keep watching. Glutton for punishment, I guess. I think more liberals watch FOX news than NEOCons...

I agree. I hardly watch the news in ANY form anymore. I DO find it humorous that those on the left cry like they walked into a hornets nest every time a news network doesn't march in lockstep with their message and agenda. HOW DARE FOX TELL THE PUBLIC THERE IS MORE THAN ONE VIEWPOINT! THE TEMERITY OF THOSE BASTARDS TO TELL BOTH SIDES OF THE STORY! ROFL LMAO

Just so you know, Op-Ed doesn't mean opinion and editorializing, its a newspaper term for the page Opposite the Editorial page, so technically speaking, a tv station can't have an op-ed.
How many nerd points am I awarded for this post?
