at least we have an easy opener and possibly a confidence builder. . and if we lose that one at least we will know how bad the season is right away. .

Remember the Texans beat us in KC a few years ago. This is no easy opener.

The Texans actually looked pretty decent last week. Opening day probably isn't going to be a cakewalk.

I've been saying the same thing for the last two months...

I bet we'll be favored to lose against Houston week 1...

At this point I'm sure the Texans fans are saying they are glad THEY have such an easy opener.

If the Chiefs lose this, my wife is going to give me hell. She's a Chiefs fan but also a native Texan. She definitely has mixed loyalties when KC meets Houston.

Yes... I was at that game. It was the CP weekend game I believe. I've never heard such silence as people filed out of the stadium.

The Texans are much improved. They have looked great this preseason.

They finally decided that David Carr was never going to get it.

They now have QB that makes quick decisions, gets the ball out with a quick release, and their offensive line, which has been blamed for sacks over the years, will no longer look like the worst in the league, even with Jordan Black.

It was pretty silent after we missed that last FG in the waning seconds of the playoff game against Indy after the 95 season. I didn't hear a single word from anyone the entire walk back to the car.
