I think Taco is very comfortable with who he is, and has nothing to prove to the Nuge, so the Nuge would be declared the winner by default.

1) Have THE NUGE approach dumb ignorant taco talking about "peace" and saying our troops should come home
2) Have THE NUGE engage in brief conversation asking if military force is appropriate.
3) When he says "No," have THE NUGE ask, "Why not?"
4) Wait until he says something to the effect of, "Because that would just cause more innocent deaths, which would be awful and we should not cause more violence."
5) When he's in mid sentence have THE NUGE punch taquito boy in the face as hard as you can.
6) When he gets back up to punch THE NUGE back have him point out that it would be a mistake and contrary to his values to strike back because that would, "be awful and he should not cause more violence."
7) Have THE NUGE wait until he agrees that he has pledged not to commit additional violence.
8) Then have THE NUGE punch him in the face again, harder this time.
Repeat steps 5 through 8 until taco salad understands that sometimes it is necessary to punch back then we can have our death match.

You need to report at once to sensitivity and diversity training Taco.

It's pretty clear that you have no idea what my positions actually are (but from simple minds...)

While I'm certainly not in favor of "innocent deaths," my focus is more America-centric than that. I'm selfish that way. My position is that we should not waste any of our resources investing in American defeat in the middle east. I believe that it's a stupid plan to try and install a democracy in a Muslim nation while at the same time trying to draw in Al Queda insurgents into the country so that we can "fight them over there, instead of fighting them here." To me, that's like trying to construct a house of cards, but deciding to throw a kegger for the local frat boys at the same time. The odds of that house of cards being erected by the time the beer runs out are pretty slim.

So yeah, innocent lives being violently torn asunder is bothersome to me (and you're welcome to shit on them at the expense of your own soul, be my guest), I'm more concerned about the America-centric aspects of this, like wasting money investing in American defeat, when we could be using the resources for ultimately more productive ventures.

I'm screwing with you right back... But I have to defend myself, so I probably sound meaner than I mean to towards you.

We toss shit back and forth towards eachother over the years, but you know I'd have no problems grabbing a beer with you and doing it in person. :)

What American male doesn't dig Superman? Besides, if my wife was going to dress him up in a teddy bear outfit to take pictures, I figured that I'd better do him the solid of taking baby pictures in something actually cool!

RE: your comment about Obama in a Superman suit. I voted for Michael Badnarik in the last election. I'll be voting for Ron Paul in the next one.

I'd vote for Obama before I voted for Giuliani.

Physically speaking, I don't know how big or tough Taco is, but Ted (the modern Ted) doesn't seem to be much more than average build. He's got that "batshit crazy" factor in his favor, though. If Taco has much mass, he might be able to take the Tedster. I dunno, does Ted get to use his arsenal?

Oh yes I do. Bully talk is overcompensation for insecurity.

As opposed to people who screw off at work while hiding behind a computer and talking crap about politicians almost 24/7?

Not much of a differnce, IMO

Lucky for me I only have to work part time and didn't work this summer due to LOA where I teach part-time.( except for fall when my school schedule gets busier) I get to do what I enjoy. And I enjoy politics and some other topics that aren't here.

But of course, you wouldn't accuse those who agree with you of doing the same here.

It's impossible to determine who "agrees" with me..other than a few select people, at one time or another, I've agreed with things said in this forum by most here.

it's not an us against them mantra that so many here try to emply.

More BS, you only have to post in this forum for about a week to know that there are people who have wide areas of overlap in their agreement on many issues.

Yeah, you let me know when you have chastised anyone's work habits that you didn't generally disagree with and then maybe you'll have a point against BEP's original post.
