I will be racing in the NBL Grand National this weekend. I will be in the old man 35 & Over Novice class. There will be at least 50 of the 35+ with me and with this being my home track I have a decent shot at making the Main! Last year I took 4th in the 17 & Over Rookie(beginner) class.

My daughter(9 Girls) and Son(6 Rookie) will also be racing.

The racing will be going on all weekend and it will be webcast here:

Currently there is a UCI Olympic qualifier going on. You did hear that correct... big guys riding kids bikes will be an Olympic event in 2008!!!!

The Grands, then the start of the NFL season... I love this time of the year...

If this turns out anything like that horrible movie, I'm not wishing you luck at all. Where's my Rams 10 - Chiefs 3 Wallpaper?

Nah, I'm talking about the horror movie on which you were included in the soundtrack. I don't even think they wasted blank DVDs on that thing, did they?

well, I made it out of my motos but got eliminated in the 1/4s. At the race I ended up 13th out of 44 in my class.

My daughter got eliminated in her semis. She ended up ranked #16 nationally in the 9 Girls class.

My little guy made it to the main and placed 3rd!!!! He finished up the season the Nationally #5 ranked 6-year-old. :thumb:

I ended up Nationally ranked #27 in the 35-and-over Novice class. I think I will just forgo the numberplate and just wear my LJ jersey!!!! :)

Sounds like a lot of fun. Do they have a fat guy division?
