Anyways I hate the announcers that say 'How big was that run/catch/tackle'. I used to hate it whenever the Chiefs were on TV back in the early 90's they'd have to say "Nick Lowery was cut by 347 teams before landing a job with the Chiefs."

I was listening to a Chiefs game last year when I was on the road, and our very own Len Dawson was complaining because Huard was getting smoked on 3 step drops. Understandably, he thought Huard needed more protection to be successful. Then like 3 PLAYS LATER, he said that the furthest receiver was only 15 yards downfield, and the Chiefs needed to stretch the field to loosen up the Defense. I almost wrecked my car I was so upset.

I was at the local HS game friday night. I had invited another pastor to the game (younger guy, played football, actually knows Boomer since he was a year or two ahead of him and grew up in a neigboring town)

It's our first drive and thanks to a penalty it's something like 3rd and 12. He leans over to me and says, "Looks like it's time to pass." I tell him, "Eh, our RB can go all the way on any given play." Sure enough, they hand off, he busts one for 30 yards right after I said that.

My neighbor has to be the biggest annoyance of anybody. I've sat next to drunken Raider fans in Arrowhead who were less annoying. This guy knows absolutely nothing about football and knows that I'm a diehard who never misses a Chief game. You can count on his sorry ass to show up during a game 3-4 times a year and want to talk about everything non-game related under the moon. Then he has the audacity to cheer when the opposing team makes a big play.

I may have to purchase one of those hocky sticks myself.

Honestly, I pretty much hate watching Chiefs games with anyone. If I'm not actually at the game, I'd prefer to just watch it by myself because ANYTHING that distracts me from watching or focusing on the game makes me really irritable.

It's like they get off on being smarter than every player and coach in the NFL, and feel they need to prove said intelligence by pointing out every perceived flaw, though typically their pointed out flaws show a complete lack of understanding of simple football strategy.
