It's nothing that special, but it did make my morning. HR rep just called me today saying that they had offered me a job as a Claim processor. My starting wage isn't much (approx $30K) but I also don't have my degree yet as in I have one semester to go so I'm just gonna take online classes to finish up my degree. Once I graduate my payscale goes up, but $30K isn't bad for not having a degree yet, living in an Apt in a college town. It will be nice to live comfortably down here.
Time to put in my 2 weeks at my current job!

Sounds like a good deal for you. Back when I went to college, you had to have your last 60 hours from the degree granting school. Are your online classes from your school or how does that work?

Good luck dude...work there 2 weeks THEN hit em' up for a raise. Tell them you notice all the cities you go to have really nice big buildings named, "John Hancock" "Prudential Towers" etc...you expect part of the insurance scam pie!

State Farm is a good company. Congratulations
Congratulations, Mr. CoMoChief. Good news, indeed.
But, if the boss calls a "Good Hands Meeting", bring a tape recorder.

Alot of schools offer online courses that are the equivalent of the traditional course.
I'm pursuing my degree that way, it is nice, you get to work at your own pace.
