All part of Herm's vision. We are one of the worst teams in the league. ROFL

Is this the Vegas line? I didn't know they ever went as high as 12 points.

I'll take the Bears and the under.

If I was a betting man I'd probably have to take the Chiefs and the points.

Good thing I'm not a betting man.

yeah, chiefs and the points. That may be a good bet.

I wonder what would happen to the line if Herm Edwards was suddenly fired. My guess is that it'd drop a few points. There is a home-field advantage, then there is the Herm-field disadvantage -- both probably about three points.

ONLY 12 POINTS!!!!

I'd seriously take the Bears.

Did you see what they did to LT yesterday??

Huard will get eaten alive, as will Turley, and their LBs will just engulf all of our dump offs

I might take the Bears if the line was 16.

The good news is the experts must believe we can hold the Bears to 12 points.

It is 12 1/2 here, I fully expect it to be 14 or more by Sunday since it is Bears territory.

Just think what the line would be had Chicago not lost two of its defensive starters to injury in Week 1.

I bet this will be the first time in history when the point spread is larger than the over/under. I bet they're predicting a final score of 10 to -2.

We will be negative 16 for the game.

0 Points

-7 given up on a INT off Bowes hands
-7 given up on a fumble from Bigfoot
-2 when the nimble and speedy fast Huard gets sacked for a safety.

Bears must have a boner for this game.

12 that's a little low....I'll be surprised if the Chiefs can even muster a TD.

How the mighty Offense has fallen. We really beleive (and i do as well) that the Chiefs wont score a touch down against the Bears.

Makes me kinda laugh and kind of pissed at the same time. lol Ahh what the hell, the Chiefs are a joke of an organization anyways. lol

i think our D can keep them under 20 points...but if you saw what they did to the Chargers OL....man, it could be brutal...

I think they got the run up the middle and the 3 yard bobbled swing pass covered.

Now what are we going to do?

We should really let LJ play safety. Have him ready to take a pitch in case of fumble recovery or INT.

Chicago's offense will do a fine job of keeping Chicago under 20.

IF we don't turn the ball over (I know - a big IF), we could keep this close....you know that Grossman is good for a turnover or 2 if we can get some semblance of pressure on him - and we should be able to do that....and the fans in Chicago will get on him FAST if he poops the bed in the first drive or first quarter....the pressure will ratchet up - esp. against a weak team like the Chiefs at Soldier field.

This could be a punt-fest and I like our chances in the punt-fest and low-scoring field position game - that IS Herm's sweet spot after all.

based on what?

ottawa_chiefs_fan

based on what?

...based on our HOF-bound punter and running back...and our new field-goal kicker - who has kicked a few in Soldier Field....

Hey - I didn't say it was a lock - but there is definitely room for some hope against this team as opposed to saaay, SD or Cinci...

Bears lose two defensive starters
http://www.nfl.com/teams/chicagobears/profile?team=CHI

09/10/2007
The Chicago Bears lost two defensive starters for the season during Sunday's 14-3 loss to the San Diego Chargers. Safety Mike Brown suffered a season-ending knee injury, while defensive tackle Dusty Dvoracek suffered a season-ending torn ACL.

This means the back ups will own us for -50 yards total offense.
