I won't lie. It's gonna be ugly. I plan to write about the hopeless nature of this weekend's game.

I was wanting to have Bear fans over for a party, barbecue etc. since this game was announced.
I don't want anyone around now, let alone any Bear's fans to laugh at my team.

I voted 21-30. I honestly do not see how the offense will move down the field. The Bears will rule the TOP, and the defense will be too tired to stop the deep attack in the second half. I also see the Bears forcing a couple of turnovers allowing their offense to get in a groove early in the game with a couple of field goals. It will something like 16-0, or 13-3 Bears at halftime, and then I see the Bears getting a couple of touchdowns in the second half.

I think it will be a snoozer... something like 13-9 or 10-6.... lots of defense and bad offense. LJ will likely struggle like LT did, but I don't see any trickery being used like SD used to score.

It's essentially the same type of offense with a lesser QB for KC right now... in CHI, it's going to be tough. But, if KC's defense does well... Rex is the wild card and if he plays like bad Rex, then KC has a shot.

Chicago's RB situation is the suck right now, I don't like Benson, I don't think he plays with heart.

KC could win this game, but the defense has to play spectacular and force Rex to be... well Rex.

Damn I hate it, really. But I see the Bear's D outscoring us.

that's a pretty damn fair take.

KC wins 6-3. But only because Chicago couldn't score on a $5 hooker on nickel night.

This will be our only decent surprise this year/season.

Damon Huard against the Bears defense?

It's gonna be a bloodbath. Expect alot of 2-3 yard checkdowns.

Any points Chicago scores with most likely come fron their D. Their O is worse than ours.

Remember when the Rams were powerhouses and we beat them 54-34 or something? Remember when the Packers were powerhouses and we threw a long bomb on the first play and beat them? We're going to destroy Chicago so badly that the Feds will put bears on the endangered species list.

There is no number that would make it worth it. Once he throws a few, the game is over anyway. No use in getting Croyle killed.

Actually I am going to take KC and the pts this week. I don't expect KC to win but I don't think they will get blown out.

While I gotta think this is going to be ugly for KC, I've watched enough NFL to know anything can happen. Miami (with Joey Harrington) went to Chicago and beat them last year. If Rex is generous with the ball, there could be a surprise.

I am expecting a surprise out of both offenses. Seriously, Rex is good for atleast three games each year and they always come at home. and I think we'll see Dave Raynor with a career performance. Final: KC 42, Chi.-38 OH YEAH! All 42 of those points come from 14 FG's.

So, from a Fade fan perspective, how did it feel to watch your team get butt****ed by Detroit in your own crib? Just curious. :p

Chicago averaged 29 points a game last year. Sure, alot of it was because of their defense, but if Grossman has his Peyton Manning type game like he does 1 out of every 3 games we are in for a hurtin.

Yeah, we're flying up Saturday afternoon. We're going to eat at Gino's East fairly early and then try to find a sports bar to watch the Nebraska/USC game.

I didn't know Fraz was going to the game. We should try to hook up, although I don't have any idea where we'll be other than Gino's and the game Sunday.

Really? 38 points for the Bears? What is your prediction for the game against Indy in Indianapolis? Are we looking at triple digits?

'Hamas' Jenkins
09-11-2007, 11:26 PM
I put the Bears at 38 because this is Pittsburgh, redux.

Indy could hang anything from 30-50 on us this year and it wouldn't surprise me.

Short Leash Hootie

The Chiefs should literally go with this game plan:

Run, run, run, punt.

Run, run, first down, run, run, run, punt.

Run, run, first down, run, run, run, first down, run, run, run, field goal.

Play-action, first down, run, run, run, punt.

This is the only way they have any sort of miracle chance...let Rex beat the Bears, because the Chiefs offense certainly has no chance.
