Where would I look for a vehicle online that has been impounded in the KC area? I don't have a working phone, so I'm trying to find it online.

thanks in advance for your help

Don't go pick it up stoned though, the cops don't like that and it's dangerous for the rest of us.

If it's been reported stolen and the police recover it, I'd imagine they would notify him.

Call the local police department and ask who is contracted to do their impounds. Probably on the local PD website as well. They contract out for a percentage.

Then check the other areas like KC police etc.

The best thing is to have the VIN of the vehicle.

If it was registered with the owners correct address.

I just had mine stolen recently and was contacted by the tow company via certified mail so they could claim it if I did not want my 2007 new car.

Nope. I once had a car reported as stolen by my ex-wife. It was towed more than 2 years later from a private parking lot (had a flat) and impounded for more than a week. Guess who paid for everything.

Him not having a phone was a problem. Reason we couldnt call the police. But he woke another neighbor up and found it.

LOL.

Ok, call 911 for free, report the vehicle stolen and ask for the tow companies for impounds while reporting.
