Allan will get picked up by another team. This stinks. I like this kid's potential. Gonzo won't be around forever.

If he was going to be picked up it would have been while he was on waivers. The only way someone calls him up now is if they get an injury at the TE position, and since the Bills passed on him there is a pretty good chance he makes it to camp next year.

yep ...... besides, we have the chance to match now

off of waivers the player is just gone

getting claimed off of the practice squad means that the team can promote the player to the 53 roster and keep him.

i'm not sure what kind of choice the player has ....... i think he can stay or go.

Don't know if you're being sarcastic, but it's pretty tough to keep a guy who clears waivers (you have to keep him on your active roster all year long) and most teams have at least 53 guys they already like well enough to not want to claim anyone off of waivers...

CBS says he is....

K Justin Medlock cleared waivers and was assigned to the Chiefs' practice squad on Tuesday.

He has the choice to take any contract offered to him by any team. The Chiefs can't match and make him stay, but they can offer to match it and hope that he does.

Glad he cleared waivers.
This kid's going to be a pretty good TE I think.
