CHIEFS ADD T JOE LOBDELL TO PRACTICE SQUAD

Kansas City Chiefs President Carl Peterson announced on Wednesday that the club has added T Joe Lobdell to its practice squad. As per Chiefs policy, no other terms of the agreement were made available.

Lobdell (6-5, 280) originally entered the NFL as a rookie free agent in 2007 with the Indianapolis Colts and spent the first week of the 2007 NFL season on that club’s practice squad. The Northern Iowa product saw action in 35 contests (24 starts) for the Panthers, logging 21 starts at offensive tackle and three at tight end. He was an honorable mention All-Gateway Conference selection as a junior after switching to the offensive side of the ball from defensive tackle. Lobdell prepped at Lena-Winslow High School in Lena, Illinois.

I thought if you signed someone off of another team's practice squad you had to put them on the 53 man roster. :hmmm:

IMO this is exactly how the PS and the back end of the roster should be used. Cycle through the scrubs until you find some players worth keeping. I like it alot better than the DV approach.

Wow, I guess Medlock was never officially added.

Perhaps they'll add Medlock if they release Adkisson.

Dude, we're getting a Lobdell.

Sounds like a dark ale.

"Hey dude, pass me a Lobdell."

"You know it's beer when it's a Lobdell."

I think he was dropped and we picked him up. Maybe Herm is trying to learn what an Offense is.

I have a TE in the 8th year of my NCAA dynasty named Lobdell. He's a converted receiver with 94 speed. lets just say the mofo creates some mismatches with the backers.
