I'm suprised we aren't higher. Top 4 or better in attendance for the last six years. Carl has made a turd into a gem since he's been here.

In our market to be 13th is pretty dang good IMO.

Exactly. I'd rather classify it as AMAZING. We are Kansas City, the red-headed step child of any city with a more than 1 professional sports team.

And the rich get richer. My dad told me 50 years ago that we could divide up all the money equally today and within 10 years all the same people would have it again.

Well the first three own their stadium - that automatically makes them worth more.

I bet the team is what makes Lamar's family that high. Lamar didnt get a big share of his daddy's money. The rest of their businesses are stable but not that good. So they are probally not as a cash fluid as some of those teams.

All we have in the KC area is football. With this ranking, do you expect KC to get an NBA or NFL franchise? Not only no, but.......

This is what the value of the team is if it was sold.

I know that, I was just stating that is where the Lamar's family wealth is from.

A testament to King Carl's main focus.

I know that, I was just stating that is where the Lamar's family wealth is from. No, no it is not. Hunt's are billionaires from Oil industry wealth, think Ewing type tycoons only much, much richer. Lamar was the only smart brother to not try to corner the silver market but even with their failure the other two still were left as billionaires. The team is small potatos to the Hunt family.

Which explains why we suck. Fill in the blanks yourselves.

Actually that does not explain it either, the Cowboys and Redskins are small potatos to Jerry Jones and Daniel Snyder as well and those two owners are not hands off.

If the Chiefs are wise, they draft a stud OT in round 1, stud C on the first day, sign Alan Feneca off the market and bring back an elite OL to KC.
