HAHA 20 to 3. I told everybody KU was gonna be better than OSU.

Kansas > Oklahoma State....Yes, I realize that doesn't say much.

All kidding aside... that KU/MU game at Arrowhead is starting to concern me a bit.

We'll see how things shake out.

I wonder how hard it'd be to get tickets... is it sold out?

I've still never seen Mizzou play in person. What better game than KU/MU at Arrowhead. :D

I just might go to this. Haven't been to a Mizzou game since I was a kid. It would be great to watch them thump the Gayhawks. :thumb:

And as much as I hate to say it, if I'm driving 500 miles, I'd rather watch the Tigers play than the Chiefs. :shake:

Or you could end up driving 500 miles to watch the Jayhawks kick the Tiggers around. :p

I know KU played OU at Arrowhead 2 or 3 years ago. But I don't know if they had ever played at Arrowhead prior to that. It is possible that they played a long, long time ago. Skip is pretty old, ya know. He remembers when dirt was formed.

Yeah, this is getting embarrassing. Make no mistake, the Big 12 is a big time conference. Think about how many times in the past decade has a Big 12 team been in the national championship game.

Is OSU supposed to be any good this year?I heard things about how OSU was supposed to have a self-proclaimed best offense ever...
Bowman, who set a Big 12 single-game record with 300 receiving yards against Kansas, is shooting for a team goal of averaging 50 points a game this season.

"I think that's realistic," Bowman said. "We have a very explosive offense with a lot of weapons. It wouldn't surprise me if we can do something like that."
....

The 6-3, 235-pound Reid often was compared to Vince Young during a legendary high-school career at Galena Park North Shore in the Houston area. Reid finally started fulfilling some of that promise late last season, passing for 2,266 yards and 24 touchdowns and running for 500 yards.

Some opposing coaches have said that the comparisons between Reid and Young will become even more noticeable this season if Reid continues improving.

If they score a couple of more TDs today, they would only have to average 62 a game throughout the Big 12 season to meet 50/game. ;)

Honestly, don't have a college team. Been overseas too many years. Just doing a little friendly trash talking.

My baby brother coached at Troy for a couple of years and the coach is from a little town in the county where I grew up.

I was just copying and pasting... He had almost all the snaps in the Georgia game, but nothing since. He's a Jr and the Robinson kid is a Sophomore, so I don't know why they have Vince Young on the bench.

OSU is getting killed. T. Boone Pickens has just recently given OSU $225 million. I guess it hasn't kicked in yet.

Yet still not as silly as WSU's non existent program. You should shut the f*ck up while you are behind. But you are too stupid to do that. You prove it every day.

Not sure why anyone is surprised by this...this is Tony Franklin and the Air Raid Offense, which has been successful everywhere its been, most notably at Kentucky in the late 90s with Coach Hal Mumme and Tim Couch and then ofcourse his assistants branched off everywhere...Mike Leach to OU and Texas Tech, Chris Hatcher was very successful at Valdosta St. and is now bringing the Air Raid to Georgia Southern, and Tony Franklin (although Mumme and Franklin hate each other)....Franklin has a very successful product he sells to high school coaches on this offense, he has a $ 3000.00 program he teaches HS coaches about this offense (it is very pricey but from what I understand, it is worth it),....the famous Hoover HS in Alabama learned their deal from Franklin...he's a good football coach, and a damn good OC, he'll be a college HC pretty soon.

Let me give the Big 12 some "love" ... I-State beat a member of the Big 10 and I'm very pleased. That once supposedly mighty conference seems to be taking a lot of lumps this year.

Hey, wonder if the coach of Troy, Larry Blakney, could coach the Chiefs? He has taken a Division II school and plays some of the major college programs even up. They have had a good team for years. Certainly wouldn't do any worse than what we've had the last few years????
