While I'm not home yet -- I'm on the right side of "the pond"!!!!!

I'm in Baltimore right now.

We had our bag drag at 0720 Friday morning (thursday night for you guys)... and then FINALLY loaded onto the plane around 1400 (2pm)...

After a QUICK stop in Germany (for once) - we headed this way. We got into Baltimore around 2230 (1030pm) and cleared customs and I'm staying at the Hampton Inn right now. I'll be here until about noon.

This is great news and bless you!
Thank you for all you did and do.

I watched the HBO series last night and had tears in my eyes. It was hard to watch but felt I had to.

Retired USA.

Glad all is good for you.

I do not remember the name but it was hosted by the actor from Sopranos and about the wounded from the war after returning.

I thought she was in Kyrgyzstan. What does that have to do with war wounded?

Most of the wounded/killed from Afghanistan came thru Kygryzstan. So granted we weren't high threat... but it's still the AOR and away from family.

I did not know that. I thought everyone from Afghanistan was treated in the Afghanistan and then sent home or to Japan.

As I said previously, Welcome Home. :)

But seriously, All of our returning soldiers deserve our apprecation and thanks. Regardless of what you think of the President or being in Iraq, our brothers, sisters, Dad's and Mom's have put themselfs in harms way to help defend the homeland. And I for one am very grateful for their sacrifice!

I heard she was being sent to some third world shite hole, where the men practice violent sports like "twist the ball sack" and "guess how long I can go without brushing my teeth". I'm afraid her next assignment will be in the a-hole of N. America and that place is Okiehoma.

LOL - I was careful about how I packed that last calendar you sent me... I didn't want immigration to find it and I had it pinned up on the INSIDE of my wall locker.
