A Kansas City Chiefs specialty license plate is now being offered by the State of Missouri. The information went live their web site today. The link is listed below and will reside under the Fan Zone tab/drop down.
http://www.kcchiefs.com/myplate/
The team is not receiving any revenue from the license plates, the required $35.00 fee is a donation to the Chiefs Children's Fund plus a $15.00 specialty plate fee is paid to the Department of Revenue.

Nice. I love specialty tags. I'd get one if I lived there. As it is, I have one of these:

So, I now know not to send any future English or Journalism majors there. Was it designed by a fewtball or bassaball player?

If that's how they spell it where you're from.
Don't send any students, I'm sure they have enough already since it's the 2nd largest journalism college in the nation. They're doing alright without them too, ranking 3rd nationally in the Hearst competition and dominating many other national competitions and awards ceremonies.

I always wanted to get 3VOM on a license plate. Looking at it in the rear view mirror it says "MOVE"
BUT, I live in kansas now so I don't have to worry about the front plate anymore.

So, I pay $70 for a two year tag, plus the $15 to the DOR? Won't I have to pay another $70 in two years? Not that I mind. I'm just checking.

No, just your normal renewal fee.

The specialty Kansas City Chiefs license plate is available to Missouri vehicle owners only.
When you receive your signed Kansas City Chiefs Emblem Use Authorization Statement and the Department of Revenue form (DOR 1716), further instructions for completing the process will be included. For more information refer to the Department of Revenue website. You will then have to pay the Department of Revenue a $15 processing fee to get your plate. Your license plate may be picked up at your local license office when it’s ready and at that time you will have to pay any other applicable registration fee due to the DOR.
Personalized Plate Configurations
Personalized license plate configurations allow for up to 6 characters to be used on a license plate. For the purpose of these designs, a dash, space, or an apostrophe counts as one character, and only one dash, one space, or one apostrophe is allowed. Below is the maximum number of characters allowed, by type of plate:
Basic personalized license plate design with no emblem or wheelchair symbol: up to 6 Characters (plus one space, dash, or apostrophe if desired)
Plates with an emblem or wheelchair symbol: up to 6 characters

If you haven't noticed, I'm a little sick of Florida. If only the polar ice caps would melt a little faster.

*fense--used to be missing the D, now it's missing the O. Should be good forever cause we'll never have both sides of the ball.
I was just thinking, for those that live somewhere else. How many fans of other teams will apply for the Chiefs tag with SUCK next to the Chiefs logo?

Wish I was back in KC.
Well, not really, but it's still a cool plate.
