Like the drivers license from a deparated realitive. It just seems wrong to throw it in the trash. It serves no purpose or has no value.

When I have a project using wood. I hate to throw away the odds and ends.

I have beer and wiskey bottles of uncommon brews tried. Just worthless

I have a house full of stuff that I could live without.

I've joked around for several years that my goal was to be able to put everything I own in a duffle bag. (Vehicle not included). I have to say the idea of being able to pack all my belongings and be on the road to....where ever I feel like going...in 5 minutes does have a certain appeal.

I had this problem until my granny passed away.
After hauling off 7 truckloads of stuff, I have changed my ways.

This is after helping them move from a farm 10 years ago and it took 21 people to move BS over 200 miles.

The Army actually stopped me from storing items (and storing items in a storage place) that I did not need while moving every year.

I know what you mean. I'll bet I have 3 or 4 sets of desktop computer speakers(among many other compt. parts). The thing is I know theres about one chance in a thousand I'll ever use any of them but can't seem to bring myself to through them away. I guess some of has to do with the times I've needed a computer part or car part and at one time I had the exact part I needed but got rid of it about 6 months before. That really pee's me off when I have to go out and buy something that, at one time I already had and got rid of it thinking I'd never need it.

Funny this thread should come up. I'm going to haul a load of crap to Goodwill today. This is stuff left over from a garage sale that we held 2 years ago.

I still have my pony tail from when i got my hippie hair cut off. Everytime I come across it, I'm like why do I have that, but I never throw it away.

Anyone need a 17" monitor? Or a 15" monitor? Or a P2 60MHz with 32MB of RAM? How about 4 boxes of assorted cables and other crap?

Computer gear is what's hardest for me to part with.

Well that sucked. They wouldn't take the bed or the basketball hoop. That crap is back in my garage. I can't even give my shit away.

Believe it or not, been there done that. It was a cold day when the Chiefs were playing out the string to a 6-10 season. My mom and aunt decided not to go. The only other people outside the stadium just before that game were other people trying to give away their tickets.
