What a waste of space. Best of luck Carlyton. Don't let the door hit ya in the arse.

Might be the worst FA pickup in Chiefs History.

I told you guys not to worry; This was destined to happen since the end of last season. Carl just has a better grasp of the cap than a lot of people give him credit for.

Its good that Peterson finally admitted failure with another free agent. Cutting Gray not only frees up some cap room, it sends a message to other players that poor performance wont be tolerated. Same thing when he cut Chester.

As far as worst FA of all time, I can think of a few other that were bad:

Brenston Buckner
Brett Periman
Lew Bush
Linn Elliott

I believe Buckner arrived via trade.

Wasn't Tony Mandarich a FA?

Oh wait! He was a #1 draft pick.

My bad.....

Tony Casillas....by FAR our worst signing and waste of time....Remember that fiasco?

At least he didn't suit up and get flagged for 2-3 encroachments...

But Chet did at least make ONE positive play...Casillas was just a crybaby...

I don't think it's fair to include Lew Bush in that list yet....

In recent memory, besides Gray, Casillas and Buckner do come to mind, though...

Isn't that odd? Casillas, Buckner, McGlockton...why do have such a high percentage of DL as FA busts?

I can't find any information about Gray getting released. Did you hear it on the radio or is there a site with the information?

Not that I doubt you or anything,

I haven't been able to find any official news of this either Deep South but I just went to the Chiefs website and he is not on the roster or the depth chart.

Maybe they're embarrased to admit what a disaster he was?

I saw it on KFFL initially...it was from a story on Sportsline...

Lenny Pasquarelli broke the story...
