Garth Brooks is, has, and always will be a pimp. Like his music or not, the guy's a stud.

It's his only show of the year...you knew there'd be a huge demand for tix.

that is a smart move. Im not a big country fan, but he does have a lot of good songs.

I'd imagine it's like NASCAR, with people coming from all over the midwest.

This is like the Redneck Super Bowl. Every hick in the midwest will want to be there.

No they said they were limiting it to people from Missouri(except ST. Louis area) and Kansas, and some other areas around Iowa and Nebraska.. Anybody that bought tickets online from outside of those zip codes will be getting refunded..

Shows 5 through 9 were open nationwide. Only the 1st four shows were locally restricted.

True, but he hasnt given a concent in ages and he hasnt toured. It sort of creates a hyper demand.

Bon Jovi and Springsteen have did it at least twice at the Meadowlands. Springsteen did 15 shows in 1999 at the Continental arena. This is the first I have heard of someone doing it in the midwest.

Not just the midwest. Didn't he draw like a million people to that New York show at Central Park?

I know he prefers 9 shows in the same place versus 9 different cities as well.

Hopefully JA will not go drinking with him in the 4 days.

Nice memory...he also had that concert televised by HBO...Not bad for a midwest boy.
