It's actually a berry.

A very, very delicious berry.

I have a 2 year old tree in my backyard. This year it gave out about 40 of them. Good good good.

Berry. Crunchy. Juicy. Seedy.

Weird.

If I had a pomegranate tree, I'd make a lot of pom wine. That stuff is awesome.

What's weird about eating kiwi?

It is hairy, sometimes tough skin depending on the ripeness and if I let them get too ripe, they become more like cologne than a fruit.

Maybe its just me?

Do you just eat the little seeds or the whole thing? I've never eaten one.

Eat the seeds on the inside.

That looks like a lot of effort. Are they easy to peel and what not?

How do you tell if they are ripe?

Not too terrible to peel. You just kinda break the skin apart and seeds fall out.

I'd seen on Food Network the best way is to break it apart in a glass bowl filled with water. The seeds will fall to the bottom, the skin will float. Skim the water, drain and enjoy.

You ate the seeds?

Enjoy the time you now have to spend hanging out in the underworld with Hades.

You'll probably be there awhile. I don't think you are Orpheus's type. :p

Sometimes you get more than you bargained for. Just like Persephone.

I might be the exception but seeds equal poop, in my recent history.

Still nothing out of the ordinary. Sorry. No poop to report.

You should be able to. But that would be a waste of this great fruit, in my book.

I'm a lifetime connoisseur (so to speak) of Pomegranates. I have no recollection of any change in #2.

I tried it out of curiousity last night. It's kind of a chore to eat, but it tasted fine. Definitely unique, it doesnt taste like anything else. If someone offers me a pomegranate I'll eat it, but I dont think I'll go out of my way to eat them.

I can teach you two easy ways to eat Pomegranates.
