WTF is up with this guy? Most of the time he can't even crack the 20. Give someone else a shot back there. It sure as hell couldn't get any worse. :shake:

Maybe we can lure Desmond Howard from College GameDay.

Isn't he just on their practice squad? All we have to do is sign him and put him on our 53.

Oh bullshit. He hasn't done jack all year. Has the blocking been bad EVERY time he has had the ball?

I suspect you're right. I would, however, like to see how Phinisee looked, especially with our lack of depth at CB right now.

I think he's on Rams' PS.

Phinisee had some good returns with those same shitty blockers. That move was a mistake to this point.

Drummond hasn't played well, but the main problem is still the blocking. Hall is playing well in St. Louis because unlike here he has blocking.

Then he's ours if we want him to replace Drummond.

There is a difference between a guy who really wants to prove himself, and a guy that has already made the big money. Picking Drummond over Phinnisee was a mistake.

Told him to not go too far. And IIRC, that was Carl, not Priefer.

Yup, let's bring Drummond in at the very last second, with no preparation with the ST's, instead of a guy who went through camp and just wanted a chance. Granted, drummond makes plays when covering kicks, but if that's the upside, obviously returns are the downside... relying on your returner to make tackles...speaks of a lack of talent and or coaching.

Eddie Drummond has some skills. He ran two punts back on the Jaguars in 05 to make a game very interesting.

He caught the ball on one kickoff near the 10 yard line and I said to myself, "He won't make it to the twenty". He didn't.

LJ and Drummond are having the same problem, people are just flying in and hitting them before they can go anywhere.

It's Webb's or Sippio's turn. Throw the lowest-paid receiver at returns, and let him go balls-out.
Did Sippio suit up today? Couldn't tell.

This org. cut some players that should have been in the lineup by now. I would like to hear the Chiefs excuse for signing Drummond.

Yeah, our kickoff returns are a thing of brutality. I saw that, too. I think he got it on the eight, and I started to get pleased for no reason.
