This deserves its own thread.

And I need something to feel good about today, dammit.

Highest ranking since 1981. After the biggest win over Nebraska in 60 years.

And 11 > 20. :moon:

Congrats for smoking the Huskers!

I know they're overrated this season, but you guys took them to the woodshed and then some.

The KU-MU matchup at Arrowhead is going to be a great one, particularly because of your good O versus our stout D. Sure, we have a good offense, too, but it's not as high-flying as yours appears to be - and your TE's are scary.

The last time something good like this happened, my ex-wife soon after told me she wanted a divorce.

So watch yourself, Tim!

Oh, wait. Come to think of it, that was just astring of good luck continuing on for me. Nevermind.

It was a great game last night. Mizzou kicked the crap out of them on both sides of the ball. Very impressive win.

I am as optimistic as the next person, but I think our defense will struggle stopping the run in Norman...

I am as optimistic as the next person, but I think our defense will struggle stopping the run in Norman...I don't know a Mizzou fan that would disagree with you.

But you never know...

And if they do win... Wow!

And 11 > 20.

That kind of knowledge will get you 3 credits at Mizzou.

Sorry, this thread was just too creepy with so much MU-KU bonding.

Kentucky, Kansas, and Illinois in the top 25 in football :hmmm:

Don't worry, we'll all get nasty again soon enough. :)

Sorry to fly off the handle like that...

I'm not a smart man, but I can add and subtract two digit numerals. :D

It's just not the same since Skip and I made peace. fAiry Chi3fs is a poor substitute.

Any true Mizzou fan knows to temper their optimism going into Oklahoma next week. Anybody thumping thier chest and predicting a Mizzou blowout is a moron.

However, cynical Mizzou fan or not...this team has a scary-powerful offense capable of hanging 40 on anybody. Thier lack of options in goal to go/4th and inches-type situations is a little unnerving, but overall this is the best I've felt about any Mizzou sports team in a long, long, long time.

M-I-Z....Z-O-U!!!

ESPN's College GameDay will be in Norman on Saturday morning too. The thing about this game is that Mizzou has NOTHING to lose in this game....no one expects Mizzou to waltz into Norman & beat the mighty Sooners.

Just imagine if it happens though!

M-I-Z....Z-O-U!!!I don't think MU wins at OU; I'm not sure we keep it close. But, I think we'll score some points.
