Am fooling around on MySpace for much of the afternoon. One of the joys has been running across Hillary Clinton's MySpace page (http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewprofile&friendid=163712750). What did I do once I found it? What I do every time I click on a woman's MySpace page -- went straight for the pictures.
That's where I found this gem:
http://a707.ac-images.myspacecdn.com/images01/45/l_ddafd8b1892aaff54ad99f0476bfdae2.jpg
Fair. Decent. Determined. Whatever.
The best part about this photo are the 80-some comments (http://viewmorepics.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=viewImage&friendID=163712750&albumID=0&imageID=2964216) from regular MySpace Joes and Janes that followed.

I would question why any man in his right mind would go searching for that site, let alone make the comment that she is a decent looking woman.
My opinion is that she is an ugly person and that has nothing to do with her physical appearance. She is also, IMO, one of the most crooked, if not the crookedest, people in this country.
She does not want to be president for the good of the country, it's a power trip and the people of this country will suffer if she is elected.

Lose the stupid, goofball glasses that were probably in back then, and you've got a standard early 20s chick. Is she hot? No. Is she a total dog? No. Just average.
Look at her now and what have you got? Standard 60 year old chick. At least she hasn't turned into a whale like some do.
Again, she's not Heather Locklear or Joan Collins. Far from it. But ugly or revolting? Nowhere near it.

Name one candidate in the last century who you believe wanted to be President for the good of the country, rather than as a power trip? I'm sure there have been some, but they usually don't get enough signatures to get their names on the ballots, and they certainly haven't won any major party nominations.

The thing is that Hillary will do worse things to the U.S. than any other candidate that is currently attempting to be nominated for the office. She is fully out to gain power. If ever there were going to be an attempt by a person to "overthrow" the government it would be Hillary. She has always wanted the U.S. to be run by a Dick-tator. In this case it would be a dickless-tator ..... maybe.

To suit her desires of power, a never ending power. Hillary is one of the most crooked, if not the most crooked politician in the country. Ronald Reagan wanted to get term limits eliminated. IIRC Hillary was all in favor of it.
Most of my statement is just judging her character, or lack of it in this case.
The one worst thing the public in the U.S. could do is to elect her.

I don't particularly like Hillary...but if you want people to see your point of view throwing in a view facts that support those views might help...I don't see how a random Reagan view proves anything...was Hillary even an elected official then?

The election was legal in all respects. It was the democrats that started the shit after that election. The funniest part was that Florida had known about their problems with the voting machines for years. They didn't do anything about them until the election of 2000.
If you actually believe that the election was illegal you've been sampling the red koolaid that the DNC is putting out.
Post some constitutional laws that have been broken. To date I haven't seen any cases that have been justified in any court. If it was as you say there would be all kinds of litigation in action .. where is that litigation?
You just sound like a sore loser. Your worthless candidate was beaten by the conservative worthless candidate in two separate elections. What does that tell you about the democratic potential?

1. My Google efforts found that Bill Clinton didn't support term limits, but nothing on Hillary's support or lack thereof. GENERALLY, Democrats don't support term limits, so no shock there.
2. Doesn't everyone running for President have "desires of power"? I mean, it's kind of automatic, no?
3. "never ending power". on what do you base this?
4. She's the most crooked politician in the country -- on what do you base that?

Answer to #1. - Memory is not 100% accurate, but when Clinton was about to leave office, as with Reagan, there was a study to see if the term limits could be removed, not enough backing (republicans controlled both the House and Senate).
Answer to #2. - Not in the manner of Hillary. Wait, if she is elected you will understand.
Answer to #3. - Again, wait and your understanding will be clear.
Answer to #4. - You have got to be kidding ... You really don't know her background?
For your final comment - What you will have to consider is that if she is elected you might be seeing the very last president of the U.S. The wicked witch can't have power for eternity but if it is at all possible she will disband the constitutional government as we have it and this country will be more like the old Soviet Union in a Three Musketeers type of way. One for all (socialized everything) and all for ONE (all we have will be hers). I wonder what she will call her own private type KGB?
If you think this can't happen, you will just have to wait and live through it.

ah, man...as a woman in dominantly male career, it is one of the biggest insults to hear comments about how one looks. I've gotten anything from a preacher with nice legs, to comments on cleavage, to even what sort of make up I'm wearing.... there's not a week that goes by that I don't hear something about my hair, or my clothes.... It's an insult because it demeans the professionalism we bring to the table and the intelligence and it demeans women as nothing more than something good to look at. I may not be a Hillary supporter, but when we are talking about a woman in a man's field, why do we always have to bring up the way she looks? Seems to me we have a little ways to go until we have gender equality.

Because when the comments are about looks and not about the job that I've done, it is condescending. It's not like I'm hanging in a bar with a bunch of guys, then I say bring in the compliments....I'm at my work place and the people to whom I've just given 100% of my best work are the ones making the comments. What if you worked for a woman boss and went into her office about what you thought was job related and she made comments about how gorgeous your outfit was or how beautiful your hair looked? Granted, I take it into consideration that I work with a different generation and I love them for who they are, but if the tables were turned and I wasn't female, these comments would never be heard. So what does that say about the kind of respect I receive compared to that of my male colleagues?

If I’d worn nice clothes, done my hair up and put on makeup all to look my best, I’d accept the compliment and get on with my day.
Since I’m a jeans and t-shirt kinda guy, be glad I scraped a semi-sharp blade across my face, brushed my teeth and combed my hair before starting my day. ;)
which is what I do, most Sundays...but there are some days that I wonder if they even heard what I said...you know? And that's what makes it frustrating and it's definitely not something my male counterparts have to deal with....except one of them...he got smacked on his ass by a little old lady one Sunday.... which seems a lot worse than the accidental boob brushes I get....

Jilly in your profession it would probably be inappropriate to use your legs, boobs or whatever assets you have. But it's a great way to get business, or in the door...that is if you use it right. Play the game, get the contracts, then prove what you can do and never put out. Just use their other heads they're thinkin' with against them. You can make a LOT of money! :D
I really outta write a book on my own exploits on this. :p

Sounds good to me....just needs to be more PG if ya' know what I mean. For the younger crowd. How 'bout "If Ya' Can't Beat 'Em. Join 'Em!"

a1na2 has been ireversibly "Hannitized." Whip out the antifreeze. :p
Seriously dude. You have to lay off Fox for a while. :shake:
I don't watch Fox. I don't listen to Hannity. I read the newspapers and
watch the mainstream media, unlike the rest of you liberals. I just have an ability to weed out the bullshit from the facts. It's a shame that you don't have the common sense to see what is happening.

Do you think anybody that knew these two back then figured they'd turn out to be as successful in life as they have?no...

Shit. Find us a president, ANY president, that doesn't take the country on one ride or another, and I'll give you a blank check for a finder's fee.
Truman.
Sign that blank check first and have the balance I will write it for.
