Chiefs | Peterson says Johnson not out for the year

The Associated Press reports Kansas City Chiefs general manager Carl Peterson said RB Larry Johnson (foot) will not miss the rest of the season with a foot injury but did not say how long he might be out.

Jay Glazer of FOX reports that Chiefs running back Larry Johnson is privately saying that he has a cracked bone in his injured foot.

Johnson also is saying that he doesn't know the duration of his absence.

The Denver Post is reporting that LJ broke his own foot bone with a pool cue the night of the game in order to avoid having to play behind our oline any longer. He's a tough SOB.
